The bar was louder than usual. The regulars were in their spots, while new people wandered around the room. Alice looked around the room slowly. She smiled slightly at how well the night turned out. Her bar had finally become the hit bar in town.
"Whiskey, on the rocks" a voice she did not recognize grumbled beside her. She looked at the man in front of her. He was tall, with short black hair. "Will that be all or should I start a tab?" Alice questioned pouring the liquor over ice. She couldn't help but keep looking over at the man.
There was something about his dark hair and defined jaw that she could not look away from. "Keep it open. Not hoping to leave anytime soon." He nodded and accepted the drink. Alice continued serving drinks, as FP was not the only one in the bar. He sipped his drink while watching Alice work.
Her blonde hair swished as she ran back and forth behind the bar. He smirked every time he could sneak a peek at her ocean blue eyes.
"Are you going to keep staring? Or are you actually going to say something?" Alice smirked, topping off his whiskey. "Do you always pour unwanted alcohol into customers' drinks to make extra doe?" FP swirled the new drink nonetheless. "Only to the very good-looking ones." She smiled leaning onto the counter.
Taking her eyes away from FP's, they drifted downwards to check out the rest of the man's body. The fitted t-shirt he wore under his flannel did wonders for his toned body.
"How about you keep your tab open till I close and we can get to know each other a little better." She did a glance over of his body one last time before standing straight up. "If I say yes, you have to do something for me." He smirked into his glass. He would have to thank his friends for dragging him out tonight.
"And that would be?" She leaned against the back counter crossing her arms over her chest. "Making the talks a regular occurrence." He downed his drink hoping he didn't cross a line. The smile on her face gave him the answer he was looking for.
"Anything for you baby." She kissed his cheek before returning to work. FP sighed knowing the act was over.
"Al." He whined. "You couldn't have gone just a bit longer?" He made puppy dog eyes at her.
"I do have a bar to run tonight...and you have to go pick up our son from the Topazes trailer. I'm not making Mrs. Topaz watch Charles longer because you want to get off." She chuckled cleaning another glass.
"Once, just once." He grumbled before finishing his drink. "I'll go get Charles and then when you get home we are continuing this." FP stood up firmly, putting his jacket one.
"If we were to continue I would not live with you." She smirked walking around the counter to hug him goodbye. "Alice...your gunna kill me." He watched her closely as her hips swayed.
"I'll kill you in a couple hours." She kissed him before bringing her lips to his ear. "Your not the only one who needs a release jones." Alice whispered, kissing him one more time before returning to work.
FP stood there for a second, registering her words in his mind. The one thing he knew was Charles was definitely sleeping in his own room tonight.
