The two lovers were getting ready in separate rooms...again. They had been sneaking around all summer, well sneaking around is one way to put it.
Their sneaking was pretty out in the open...they weren't good at hiding their love.
Tonight they were going to Hermione's masquerade party. She and Hiram hosted it yearly. Every December the weekend before Christmas.
When Alice was still married to Hal, she had to wear these overpriced stiff dresses. Now she can pick one out herself and like it.
Alice can also have fun instead of mingling with the whole town. Trying to scoop up any information for the register.
She snapped out of her day dream when Betty opened her door. "You look beautiful mom." She smiled and stood behind Alice's chair. Alice had a long red gown on with black heels. The dress had a slit to the top of her thigh showing off a great amount of leg.
"Thank you sweat heart. Is Veronica almost here?"
"Downstairs eating as we speak." Betty chuckled. Veronica basically lived at the Smith household sense Betty and her started dating.
"Ok well I should be going. I may be back tonight. It just depends." Alice shrugged smirking. She always joked with Betty about meeting someone new.
"I'll see you in the morning." She smirked back.
Alice was meeting FP at his trailer before going to the ball. She knocked on the door three times, like she did every time.
"Hell...you look to hot." FP looked her up and down. He could not believe she was his. He also did not want to the whole town to see her the way he did. "Oh calm down big boy. Your the only one who has me." She chuckled walking into the trailer.
"Doesn't mean I want the town to see this." He smirked and slid his hand through the slit. "Your the only one who will." Alice shook her head and grabbed their masks out of her purse.
"Alright let's go before I undress you." FP kissed her and took her hand leading her out to his truck.

The hall was large...very large. The lodges really out did themselves this year. Alice and FP made their way into the building. They had decided to both wear black masks this year.
"Hello you two. No kids as you know, so enjoy." Hermione winked through her mask. "Oh I know. Your daughter is eating through my kitchen right now." Alice chuckled.
"If it makes you feel better Jughead is eating me out of home right now." Fred laughed. "They are set. I cooked and ordered pizza." Mary sighed hooked onto Fred's arm.
"Well if you will excuse us." Alice smiled and pulled FP away from the group. "Where are we going?" FP asked as he followed her up the stairs.
"If I'm right, there is a terrace up here. Thought we could enjoy the stars." She smiled. FP could stare at her smile forever. "Ahah. I was right." She proudly smiled.
"It's beautiful." Alice whispered looking up at the sky. During the winter riverdale is usually full of clouds or snowing.
"My view is better." He shrugged and turned Alice around to face him. He placed a sweet kiss into her lips before she turned back around.
"This feels nice. Just to escape the late night calls and or crawling out of a window." She chuckled remembering how FP almost fell out of hers last time.
"It does. Maybe we should think about making this a reality." FP sighed contently into her neck. "I would like that." Her lips turned up into a small smile.
Their fingers intertwined laying on Alices stomach. "I love you FP."
"I love you too Alice." FP kissed the side of her head and lead them back into the party. Saying hi to some old friends before they went back to the trailer for the night.
