"What's so funny?" Alice chuckled watching Charles laugh hysterically at her phone. "Look mamma, look at the puppers." Charles laughed holding the screen up to his mom.

"Those are pretty puppies." She smiled at the young boy. She would love to have a family dog, but FP is terrified of dogs.

"I want one." Charlie sighed starring at the barking animals. "I know baby. Maybe when your older ok." She smiled sadly. Alice hated when he was sad. He nodded and took the phone into his room.

"Whatcha doing?" FP smiled dropping down to sit next to Alice on the couch. "Just thinking." Alice smiled and patted his leg. She didn't want to bring up the dog situation because he feels childish that he can't overcome his fear.

"Penny for your thoughts?"
"Just animals." She smiled and turned her attention to the tv. "A dog?" He sighed. "Charles was watching them on my phone." Alice chuckled.

"I'm sorry Al. I just can't..."
"I know baby. It's ok." She kissed his cheek and cuddled into his side.

"Dad! Daddy!" Charles yelled running over to FP. "What's up little man?" He chuckled and caught the leaping boy. "I saw puppers!"
"You did?" Charles nodded at his father. "They were so small and fluffy." He sighed and his head fell onto FP's shoulder.

"Well why don't we go and play with them?" FP gasped watching Charles perk up. "Really?" He grinned. "Yes let's go." FP set him down and followed quickly making sure not to loose him.

"Look dad! There so fluffy!" Charles cooed and laid down in the soggy pile. "Charles be careful." FP sighed chuckling awkwardly at the owner. "He's fine. I'm trying to sell a couple. I wasn't expecting the mama to have this big of a liter."

"Do you hear that dad." Charles smile turned into a fit of giggles when dogs tackled him again. "Ya son." He smiled sadly. It ate him up inside that he couldn't bring himself to get Charles a dog.

"Look he likes you." Charles pointed to the small retriever that sat patiently in front of FP. "Hey dog." He chuckled nervously and stepped back. The dog let out a small bark and FP's heart melted.

"Look how cute he is dad." Charles had his puppy dog eyes out and full bore. He grabbed FP's hand leading him down carefully to let the dog. "See. Nothing to be scaredy of." Charles shrugged and went back to the pack.

The dog inched closer and closer, ultimately ending up on his lap. "Hey buddy. You are pretty cute." FP chuckled scratching the dogs belly. The dog let out a puppy bark and rolled over on FP's lap.

"Your just so adorable." He chuckled and rubbed its belly. "See Dad puppers are nice." Charles joined him in on the action. "I guess thy aren't that bad." He shrugged and messed up Charles hair.

"Does this mean we can get one!" Charles screamed and jumped up not stopping the bounce. "I don't know bud. I have to talk to your mom and I..."

"Please dad!" Charles whimpered and let his tears start to pool. FP could never resist Charles when he pulled the puppy eyes with tears.

"Maybe son...how much are they?" FP looked up at the older woman on the bench. "The puppy you are holding is free if you take him. He seems to like you and your son." She chuckled watching Charles run in circles.

"Can we keep him. Can we keep him..." Charles was running all over the place hoping just hoping he would be getting a dog today.

"I...I guess we have a dog." FP chuckled surprised this puppy one his heart.

"Best day ever!" Charles yelled hugging FP's leg tightly. "Thank you so much dad." Charles whispered looking up at the adult.

"No problem buddy. Let's get home to your mom." FP smiled and held the puppy close while Charles ran to the car.

"I'm going to get so much crap because of you." FP teased the dog. Kissing it's head and placing him in the back seat with Charles.

"Mommy, mom the three of us are home!" Charles yelled running the downstairs floor. "Three?" Alice questioned walking downstairs.

"Yes three." FP sighed opening the door to the newest family member. Alice gasped and fell to her knees allowing all the puppy kisses possible.

"But I thought..."
"I made him not afraid anymore." Charles smiled and calmed down to sit with his mom and dog.

"Where did you get him?" Alice smiled overjoyed with the new addition to the family. "A ladies dog had a big liter and she was giving some of the babies away." FP shrugged and joined his family on the floor.

"That's amazing. Im so proud of you." Alice smiled and kissed FP.

"Can we go to the puppers store now?" Charles raised his eyebrow at his parents. "Yes let's go get all the things he needs." Alice grabbed her purse from the table.

"We need to name him." FP followed Alice. Charles sat there in thought of a name. "Freddy!" He cheered and his parents let out a fit of giggles.

"You want to name him after uncle Fred?" Alice chuckled knowing how much he loves Fred. "He will love it." FP winked and Charles and the dog went out to the car.

"I love you." Alice smiled. She could not be more happy at the moment. "I love you all to." He chuckled and followed the family out to the pet store.
