The day Forsythe Pendelton ll met Alice Susanna Smith, he was determined to become more then friends. He was truly head over heels for her. He thought he could handle just being close friends, but that quickly changed freshman year of high school.

Hormones and testosterone flew wild through FP.  Every time he saw Alice she looked beautiful to him. His only problem, she had her mind set on getting out of the Southside.

Everyday of freshman year he cane up with a new pickup line to ask Alice out. With every new line, a new way of rejection was giving in return.

"Sophomore year that will be the year I make Alice Smith my girl."  FP set himself up for a whole lot of heartbreak.  The flirting never affected their friendship though, so one minute FP would be moping in the corner, the next him and Alice would be sharing a milkshake from Pops.

Junior year changed for young Forsythe. His pick up lines became better and he became a hunk. Alice never really cared about looks that much, but wow it sure helped.

"So Al I had this thought." FP slid next to Alice, calling her by the nickname he proudly gave her.
"Oh no. What now?" Alice sighed pretending to be irritated, but inside she had the biggest smile on her face.
"I swear it's a good one this time!"
"Go on then." She waved her hand around gesturing for him to continue.
"So this weekend the drive in is hosting a teen get away. I was thinking you would go with me?"
"You already know my answer Jones." She sighed and walked away.
Yes he was hurt, but he had enough confidence in himself that this was the year.

"Al!" Fp screamed running into the Whyte wyrm.
"Yes Jones." Alice sighed turning away from her game.
"How bad so you want to kiss me right now."
He smirked and leaned in closer.
"I would rather be pecked to death by a flock of humming birds." Alice smirked triumphantly at her comeback and turned, so she could continue with her game.

"Hog eye, am I waisting my time here?" The heartbroken teen sat down on a bar stool.
"Keep tugging along boy. She will come around just give it time and she will be begging for you." He handed FP a beer and gave Alice a sly wink. She had told hog eye what she was doing and he agreed to not give her away.

Forsythe walked into Riverdale High and immediately looked for his soulmate. He saw her with her back against her locker flirting with another boy. She couldn't? Would she?  She wasn't his, but would she just move in like that. FP was not going to stand for another boy get in the way of his destiny.

"Good morning sweet heart." Fp kissed Alice's cheek and wrapped and arm around her waist. "Forsythe what are you..."
"I'll catch you later Alice." The boy smiled and walked away.
"I hate you." Alice stated pushing Fp off of her. "Why? I'm lovely." He smirked taking a step closer to her.
"You're not my favorite person today." She sighed.
"I'm not your favorite person any day." Fp chuckled.
"We both know that is not true." Alice smirked watching FPs eyes light up.
"Good bye lover boy. I have a class to attend." She gave him a slight push as she walked away down the hall.
She was so close to breaking. That other boy by her locker was actually annoying her, so when Fp came she was relived, but he could never know that.

"This is your last chance to come with me tonight for the movie." FP put a hand above Alice and against her locker, trapping her there.
"And why would I do that?" She questioned not moving away from him.
"Because your madly in love with me." He smirked.
She swallowed her blush that threaten to rise. She didn't know about madly in love, but she sure as hell new there was something there.
"So...if I say yes..."
"Did you just...agree with me?" He questioned wide eyed. Surprised that she is even considering this.
"Oh I wish I could take..."
"Nope!  You said it no take-backs!" FP has the biggest smile on his face.

FP has picked Alice up right on time like he said he would. Before he had ordered Pops to go so they could eat during the movie.

"So do you regret waiting all that time to say yes?" Fp questioned stuffing a fry into his mouth.
"I regret a lot of things. This conversation is on the top of my list." She smiled lightly, but took a sip of her milkshake to hide it.
"Oh, come on your making me feel like I'm being stabbed here." FP held his stomach like he was in pain.
"How do you even know what it feels like to be stabbed?" Alice questioned turning to look at him.
"I don't. I Just get that feeling when we bicker. It's either butterflies or stabbing. I just go with stabbing."
"Why?" Alice frowned. Feeling bad she causes him pain.
"It sounds more manly." Fp chuckled turning his attention back to the movie.
Al swatted at his chest and started laughing.

"So the movies over." FP stated sadly not wanting Alice to leave.
"Oh, ya it did." She nodded slowly trying to think of a way to stall.
"Well, I guess I will take you home." Fp sighed starting the engine.
"Wait!" Alice yelled turning herself completely towards FP.
"What? What's wrong?" He questioned looking her up and down. Checking for a injury.

They made eye contact both not looking away. They were so close together they could feel the breath of one another.
"On a scale of one to ten how bad do you want to kiss me right now?" Alice questioned in a teasing voice. Remembering how he told her that before.
"I'm hovering somewhere in the high thirties." He whispered not really able to think straight.
She chuckled at his response.
"Me to."

They met in the middle. Both finally giving in to what they want. It wasn't their first kiss. They were both big flirts around campus,
But this felt different. She didn't go on the date just to go out for free or to make FP jealous. She was enjoying this moment.

They pulled apart and and stared into each other's eyes.
"Say something." Alice whispered. Still trying to catch her breath.
"I DID IT. I DID IT!" FP screamed and jumped out of the truck.
"Ok god I can die now. I have fulfilled my dream." He hollered into the sky.
"Maybe not yet. I would like some more time with her."
He hopped back into the truck to find Alice hunched over from laughing so hard.

"You seriously just did that?" She breathed out between laughs.
"And I meant every word." FP turned his full attention back into Alice.
"Good because I liked what I heard." She smiled and leaned into his side.
"Come on Jonesy take me home it's late."  She snuggled closer to him.
"That's new?" Fp picked up on her new name for him.
"Ya well, I am the only one who gets to call you it ok." She warned.
"Forever." FP kissed the top of her head and drove her home.
