"So, where does this leave us?" Alice asked in between breaths. "I hope a future." It came out as a whisper, but FP felt like he was yelling it into the stars. The old flame had yet again fallen into their own trap. Yes they were in this exact position a few weeks ago, but fate wasn't allowing them to live their dream just yet. It seems after every great encounter they have together gets ruined only by themselves. Alice was apologising to the Serpents for all of her trash talking in the newspaper, but you see she never only goes in halfway. When she does something it's go big or go home. The only way she could truly feel satisfied with herself if she apologised to the king himself. Alice teased her hair, applied a seductive red lip that he could never resist and to top it off, she popped the the top buttons of her blouse. After their adventures that night. She reopened a wound that closed a long time ago, but maybe it never really closed. Maybe there was just a bandaid waiting to be ripped off. She showed up to Pops looking for her handsome man. He was cold to her, but Why? She came in his favorite attire and acted friendly and flirty. It broke something inside of her. That bandaid came right back on and his name is Hal Cooper. She was hurt and vulnerable, so when he came home and asked for a second chance she said yes. She didn't want to, but the only man she wanted didn't want her. She had no choice but to tell him now. Alice knew Jughead would tell him about her son, well the imposter and try to get him to help. She went to the trailer park and spilled her heart out to him. She expected him to hate her, but all he did was hold and comfort her. Everything was going back to a normal day in Riverdale, until the night of complete chaos. Hal the supposedly saver for Alice turned out to be the black hood. He confessed to his family about why he had done it. He was going to kill them, so Alice did the only thing she could think off and that was to distract. Luckily her planned worked and Alice and Betty were safe. After that night Alice was left broken. She didn't know what to do with herself. The man she loves doesn't want her and her husband is a psychopath serial killer. Her other daughter Polly offered her help. She took it with open arms. Alice was willing to try anything at this point. His name was Edgar Evernever. He was good looking, but nothing compared to FP. It had been weeks, but she just didn't see the purpose of their forgiving method. She did try, she tried really hard to act, think and forgive, but that was never Alice. She knew deep down there was no way in hell that she could really ever forgive Hal. she left the farm and came back to her normal way of life. Well tried to at least. There was still one bridge she hasn't crossed. Her child, was he really dead? That is only one of her problem still left to solve. Would FP ever talk to her again? She had to find out. Alice had come to his doorstep on the verge of tears. He quickly embraced her into his arms and held her. Her cries became softer and she stared up into his eyes. She pressed her mouth into his. She needed him and only him. He was hesitant of course not wanting to take advantage of her. "Please." She whimpered. He met her in the middle this time. Showing her he is there. The soft loving kiss turned into pure passion. They slowly made their way into his bedroom. That leads the lovers to where they are now. Lying in his bed, in the middle of the day. The kids are at school, so now is the perfect chance to talk. "Why don't you hate me?" Alice questioned looking up at the plain white ceiling. "I could never." FP shrugged. "Why?" she turned her head to face him. He was already staring at her, so they immediately made eye contact. "I love you to damn much." He smiled softly, for the first time in weeks it seemed. "You love me?" A tear rolled down her smooth cheeks. refreshing the already stained tears that had already fallen. "Always." He stroked up and down her arm. She was speechless. This whole time she thought he could never love her again, but he already did. She picked up her head slightly from his shoulder to meet his lips. "I love you too." Alice smiled. She thought she could never truly smile and mean it again. They know the road ahead of them is going to be bumpy, but they could handle it. For awhile they snuck around. Getting take out from Pops and taking it to Sweet Water River or going back to their homes. They spent every moment they could together. This time they were in it for the long haul. FP retired from the serpents. Handing the thrown to Jughead. When he told Alice she knew Betty would soon be joining Jughead. So when Betty came and talked to Alice she was ready. She didn't like the idea really, but only keeping her from doing it would want to make her do it more. The relationship was able to stay hidden and kept getting stronger each moment. Maybe even a little to strong. Betty and Jughead soon found out and the star-crossed lovers learned, this was only a little bump yet to be filled in the road ahead.
