Inspiration from 3x7. Absolutely loved the new episode!!!!!!! Can't wait to see their relationship develop even more throughout the season☺️ short but just had to write out the idea.
She was asleep. FP was sure of it...
They had spent the night in hanging out and cooked a wonderful dinner for the two.
The talk of being serpent king and sheriff had been weighing on his mind. He knew what ever decision he made Alice had his back which in all honesty made him feel a thousand times better.
FP just could not see himself being able to do both. Maybe he started to feel a little more confident after Alice talked it out with him. The moment she made him realize he could be both FP was going to say I love you there and then.
He couldn't do it though. Their relationship has been great since Alice has been back from the farm he's too afraid to mess it up.
So he waited like he did every night. Late nights after they shared I love you's through small kisses or love making. Their eyes gave each other away, but their lips held them together.
"Alice?" FP whispered. He would always triple check to see if she was asleep. She could barely register what he said let alone respond, so she gave a very quiet humm back.
FP however didn't hear it over her heavy breathing. "Al, baby. Goodnight I hope you had a great day like I did...I love you." The sentence came out in a whisper, but the last three words sounded like a scream to Alice.
Her breath hitched and her eyes flew open. FP felt her tense up. The two remained silent for awhile. Not knowing how to approach the subject.
"Alice?" FP whispered again. He had know idea what he was going to say, but he had to say something right?
"Yes?" She whispered moving her head slightly facing him.
"You um...your awake?" He sighed. This was going horribly. "How long have you been doing that?" A small smile twitched onto her face.
"Every night since we got together." His voice sounded small as he wished he could sink into the mattress underneath them.
"Why did you wait till I was asleep?" She sat up, fully facing him now.
"I was scared of scaring you off."
"Well your stuck with me now." Alice smirked. They could make each other do anything and they both knew it.
"Oh thank god." FP sighed with relief. He pulled Alice back into a tight embrace and kissed the top of her head.
The two started to drift off to sleep without another word until...
"I love you too FP." Alice whispered fully putting FP at ease. His arms squeezed her tight as he kissed her face over and over again.
After this night every Goodnight will end with...I love you.
