February, 14 the most romantic day of the year. Here in Riverdale it was the one day where everyone participated in their marriage whether they truly liked it or not. My parents for example they don't really love each other. The only reason my mom stays is because of me. This day used to represent something that was fake, until the dark headed serpent came walking down the hall of riverdale high. We had gone out of a couple weeks, but I wasn't expecting this. I walked up to my locker to find a rose sticking out. I opened it to get my books and found a note card with my favorite candy. The note card read::
meet me after school on the football field to receive the next card, Love Fp.I smiled ridiculously at the card all day. I looked all around school to try to find him, but he was nowhere to be found. Finally the school day had ended and I basically ran to the football field. Fp, himself was not there, but Fred his best friend was. "Hello Alice here is your next clue think long and hard. Good luck." And with that Fred was gone. I opened the card to read::
We had our first date here, but it wasn't official and the place is almost as sweet as you.The first time I had ever went out with Fp was to Pop's chocklit shoppe. I headed to Pops and when I arrived there was a table reserved with my name on it. The little card read Ali. Pop came out from the back and handed me a to-go bag with a note that read::
You picked up our food we ate when for the first time I noticed I could spend the rest of my life with you. Your next stop is the first time we kissed. I know there has already been a lot, but think back Ali.We had our first kiss at the Twilight drive in. I walked into the snackbar to have the cashier hand me a note with the movie 'Rebel with a cause'. The note read::
That was your last stop Ali. come on back home if you would like to be swept off your feet and fall in love with me even more. Or hit me for making you walk around town. When I arrived at his trailer the lights were off. It was starting to get dark, so from the outside it was pitch black. I opened the door to his trailer and there were candles lit all over the room. There was a bottle of wine, which I'm sure the serpents supplied, and two glasses. I closed the door behind me setting the food and movie on the table. "Fp?" I called out for him. "Hi baby." He smiled coming out from the bedroom. "What was all of this about?" I asked "That was just the beginning we have to start a tradition somehow right?" He said wrapping his arms around my waist and pulled me close to him. "...and I know you don't like extravagant things, so I figured what could be better than our favorite movie and our favorite meal." He pulled away and spread the food out on the coffee table. "Your cute." I giggled and sat down on the couch. He popped the tape into the dvr and dat down next to me. "You know I meant what I said I can see myself with you for the rest of my life Ali." "Me to." I smiled and leaned in to kiss him. "Good because I thought I was scaring you away." I laughed at him. "Your stuck with me Jones let alone scare me away." I leaned back into his lips. We didn't break apart until the tape was done rewinding and it clicked. I jumped away and we laughed. After we ate he popped the wine open and poured us a glass. We laid on the couch cuddled with each other until the movie was over. I started to drift off, but he kissed the top of my head. "Ali do you want to go lay down?" He asked already starting to pick me up. I let him carry me into the bedroom and lay me down. He went back out into the living room, but just to blow out the candles. Inside the bedroom there were more candles and some flower petals on the bed. I almost didn't notice, but i started to look around the room. Fp's guitar was also sitting by the bed. He came back into the room and sat down next to me grabbing the guitar. "Can I play you a song Ali." He smiled. "Of course." I smiled back at him sitting with my legs crossed. He started strumming the guitar and it was good. I had not heard the song before, so when he started singing I knew he wrote it. Half way through the song I couldn't help it anymore. I grabbed his hands and set the guitar on the ground. "I love you Forsythe." I said moving to straddle his hips. I leaned down to kiss his lips full of passion. "I love you to Alice." We were both smiling like lovesick fools staring into eachothers eyes. We started to go further and I pulled the sheet over us.
Tonight on February, 14, declares the night I stopped hating Valentine's Day
