Alice's POV
"Doctor Torez, will you please tell my daughter Betty I will be fine." I chuckled and handed the doctors the phone. "Yes, hi Betty, your mother will be fine. She had a couple broken bones in her wrist and I will have her home in two days."
"Thank you." I smiled and took my phone back. "Alright don't fly down. I'll see you soon, love you too bye."
"Sounds like you have a very protective family." Torez chuckled examining my arm. "Well her father died two years ago, so I am her last parent." I shrugged.  "I'm so sorry...and right now we are going to book you a room, so I can get you into an OR room." She smiled one last time before a nurse wheeled me away.

FP's POV
"Mr. Jones do you remember what happened tonight?" The doctor questioned checking my heart.  "The last thing I remember was walking down the stairs and ended up here." I shrugged.  "Well it looks like you tripped and fell down, but you have slow heart beats, so we are goin to keep you here for observation." Another Doctor chimed in. "Is there something wrong with my head?" I questioned. My god it couldn't be. I haven't seen her... "do you have a headache?" Doctor Yang questioned again.

"No, but I think I see a ghost. Alice!" I yelled over to the hallway. The woman looked my way. "FP?" She questioned looking harder. "Wait a second." She stopped her bed and looked back at me. "My god it's been 30 years." I chuckled still not believing my eyes. "You make us sound so old. Just say since high school." She chuckled. I don't think I could ever love a smile that much.  "How's Gladys?" Alice asked shyly.

"We divorced.  How's Hal?" I sighed. "I'm so sorry and he passed." She frowned. "Well I have to go, but please come visit." She urged and I nodded. "Room 301." Doc Lexi smiled pushing Alice away. "So you are in love with her aren't you?" Doctor Stevens smirked. "It's been years and I had a wife." I scoffed and looked away hiding my blush. "Had is the key word there." She pat my leg and moved me into a room. "Want to hear the story?" I questioned before dc. Stevens could walk away. "Always." She grinned and sat on the chair beside me.

"We have known each other for a long time. Since we were kids. She was my first love, mind You we actually never went out." I chuckled. "Through high school we may have flirted with one another, but never marked each other. We eventually both moved on. I found Gladys and she found Hal. She was supposed to be my wife's maid of honor, but she didn't show up and I haven't seen her since." I sighed and sunk back into the bed. "This sounds like an epic love story." Izzy sat there in awe. "I love her with everything I have."

Alice' POV
"How do you two know each other?" Dc. Lexi asked bringing me into a room. "Since we were kids. I loved him. I loved him with everything. Always wanted for him to ask me out or kiss me, but he never did." I sighed. "I was good friends with his wife.  Supposed to be her maid of honor, but I couldn't look her in the eye and tell her I'm not in love with her fiancé, so I left. I thought about writing a letter. Telling her why I left, but as more time went on the harder it got." I shrugged. "Wow, you should tell him."

Alice went into surgery and FP sat in his room waiting to hear an update on Alice.

"Your surgery went great Mrs.Copper, but if we had to change your room.  I think you will enjoy this one." Doctor Torez winked and wheeled me into FP's room. "FP." I smiled once the doctors and nurses left. "I can't believe my eyes." He shook his head. "How have you been, besides being in the hospital."
"I've been better. I could have been better, but 30 years is a long time to not be ok." He sighed and long-fully looked into my eyes. "Gladys didn't make you happy?" I coughed looking away.

"Not like the woman I loved...love." I quickly snapped my head back to meet his eyes. "You loved...love me?" I whispered. It took him 30 damn years to say those three words. He only nodded in response. "I loved you once too." I let a single tear slip from my eye. "What changed?"
"You got married. I had to, no I moved on." I gained the confidence back into my voice. "Run away with me?" FP asked seriously. "Ok." I giggled sarcastically.

"I'm serious." He reaches into my bed taking my hand. "I've, I can't." I removed my hand from his turning away. He didn't say anything else just laid there quietly. It had been hours and the doctors came in and out checking in the both of us. Luckily I had fallen asleep, so I wouldn't have to see FP for awhile.

"He's going into shock!" I heard a doctor yell followed by a bunch of footsteps. "Get a crash cart!" I heard another yell. I turned over to see FP dying before my eyes. I quickly grabbed his hand holding on tight. "Mam you need to let go." Yang demanded. "No, I'm not letting him go." I could feel the tears pooling in my eyes. "If you want him to live you need to let go!" I reluctantly let go and watched him being wheeled away.

"I will update you as soon as I know." A young blonde woman smiled nodded following them. It was hours before the woman came back in. Luckily she was followed by FP in his bed awake. After the nurses got him settled we laid there in silence.

"You better not do that again!  Do you hear me?  If I am moving away with you, you can not die!" I gritted out my teeth. FP looked into my eyes. Filled with happiness and surprise. "Your coming?"
"I don't think I ever got over you. I think it was all just a lie, an act." I chuckled and wiped away the tears. "Hey stop crying. I'm not going anywhere." He grabbed my hand giving it a slight squeeze.

"If you did I think I would kill you myself." I chuckled and leaned closer to him. "Can you walk?" He questioned and I Scoffed. "I have a broken wrist. I'm not paralyzed." I stoop up and walked over to his bed. He scooted over making room for me.

"I missed this." I sighed snuggling closer to him. "Except this will be better because I can kiss you...and not have to blame my lighter for being in my pocket." He chuckled and I gawked. "I knew it wasn't your lighter, but I do have to admit. I did that on purpose to try to get you to admit you had feeling for me." I kissed his cheek moving down to his neck.

"To bad I don't have a lighter in my pocket right now." He smirked. I looked up at him and moved my leg in between his. "Now now, Mr.Jones, you have to wait until we go home." I mocked and kissed that smirk right off his face.
