A full week has passed since the meeting with Frederick and the day we decided where we want to head now that I've got a high ranked title

Three things are currently making me go crazy right now and killing my remaining brain cells

1. Frederick finally called in the favor we owe him for the bombs and escape plan after the trials

2. Tonight's the ball we've been preparing for, the one where I'll be presented as Cimmerian's new leader

3. Aelia crawls faster than the blink of an eye and I can't keep up

"Lilly don't!" I hear Noah say and I turn around just in time to see her push the huge ass toy box to the ground, spilling its contents

"Freaking bananas she was right beside me a second ago!" Maverick rushes out

See what I'm telling you? She has superpowers I swear

"Nuts. I just cleaned that up" Mal says with a sigh. We're working on replacing curse words since Lilly repeated a baby version of fuck a few days ago right after I said it

It sounded more like a "pluk!" instead of "fuck!" but it was enough to make us believe she's too smart and even though she's not even a year old yet she'll start mimicking us when we least expect it

Noah helps Malik clean while Aelia sits there giggling beside them and Maverick tries to discipline her but earns a fart sound instead

It was Oak who taught her to blow raspberries

Speaking of Oakley, dad and Nonna took him with them to the grocery store so they can buy some stuff

"Lilly, I'm serious you need to stop breaking everything you can reach and making a mess out of this house" I hear Mav say while I sip from my tea

"A little help here baby?" Noah asks me from the floor where he's picking the toys

"Nope you seem to have it all figured out" I say smiling and taking another sip but end up sprinting after Aelia when she starts crawling and giggling towards the open front door

"Lilly! Stop that honey you're gonna drive me crazy" I say reaching her before she falls face first into the pavement because of the couple of steps there are to enter and exit the house

I pick her up and she starts kicking with her little legs to be put down

"Okay, enough. Time for a bath so you can take a nap" I tell her. Did I mention it's barely 8am? Both her and Oakley wake me up at the crack of dawn

"Get some sleep when she does baby, remember you have the appointment at the salon at 11 and you won't be able to rest until after the ball" Noah says and I groan

Dad made an appointment so I can get my hair, make up and nails done for the ball. I thought I'd never say this but I'm actually kind of excited for it, I've never been taken care of before so I'm looking forward to it.
