"Well Cirrus, how was your session with Marilyn?" Sheena asked.

"Okay I guess. Maybe you should ask Marilyn."

"Cirrus you need to give Marilyn a chance. I trained her up myself. She will bend over backwards to please you."

"I believe you Sheena. It's just...she is so much like Melanie in looks and build, but that's where it stops. I kept expecting her to behave like Melanie. I guess I'm just not ready to... let go."

"I know it's never easy to recover from a break up, but you have to make a start somewhere and what better place to find yourself again than in familiar surroundings amongst people you know who play the same game as you."

Marilyn's reflection in the mirrored wall behind the bar caught Cirrus's attention. She looked down at the floor the moment he turned round. "Are you alright Marilyn?"

"Yes Master. I've come to thank you."

"Not necessary Marilyn. You did my bidding and performed well. I have no complaints."

"Thank you Master. Very kind of you to say. Is there anything else I can do for you?"

"No thanks Marilyn, I am good for today. I will let Mistress Sheena know when I need to see you again."

"Yes Master, as you wish."

Never once did she lift her eyes to look at Cirrus and it made him miss Melanie even more. She would have been defiant and stared him down. But then she would never have allowed him to play his game with her either. If he wanted Melanie back, he would have to turn his back on this life forever. She had made it quite clear this was not for her. It was thanks to her father that this life style was now ingrained into every fibre of his being. Was it possible for him to turn his back on everything he had been taught? Could he really close the door for good and walk away? These thoughts raced through his mind as he stared unseeing at Marilyn's bowed head.

Sheena nudged him. "Cirrus, she's waiting to be excused." She whispered.

"Sorry Marilyn, I'm forgetting my manners."

"No need to apologise Master."

Cirrus stroked her hair. "Thank you. You may go. Enjoy the rest of your day."

Marilyn took a step backwards, hesitated for a moment and looked up at Sheena who nodded and smiled. Marilyn left as quietly as she had appeared.

Cirrus turned back to his drink at the bar without a word and Sheena couldn't help wondering if Marilyn had been the wrong choice for him. A cut too close to the cloth. Maybe someone totally different and feisty with red hair would probably be a better distraction for Cirrus.

Sheena spent the next week going through all the new Submissive arrivals at the club to select one that she thought would be perfect for Cirrus. After chatting with several of them she eventually decided on a tall red head, with smouldering green eyes and a feisty attitude to match her flaming red hair. She prided herself on her choice of a Submissive for Cirrus. Crystal was a fast learner and although she was a Sub she had a sharp tongue and a complex personality. She would be a challenge for Cirrus and probably just what he needed.

Sheena had not heard from Melanie since she left and that's just how Melanie wanted it to be. To cut all ties from her past and start a new life without any baggage. But Sheena couldn't help wondering how she was doing.

"Glad to see you are pulling yourself together Cirrus."

"I'm trying Dante. Thanks to Sheena. She's been very patient in trying to find the right Sub for me, so it's rather hard for me to turn her down."
