To put it simply, I got bored again, and started picking out the fics I have on my Docs that I sort of forgot about. I know it's going to take forever to finish them, especially if there are a lot of them. But I am bored, and this means I will at least finish them one way or another. This is one of I don't know how many fics I have planned but never did anything with. Enjoy. For more in depth of tags please see my account on AO3. Thank you! -N.

 Chapter 1-Mark's Screwed

To put it simply, Mark was screwed. He was so utterly, ultimately, and royally screwed. God, Taeyong was so going to have his head at the very least when or if he got out of this jam alive, preferably in one piece. He was told going in tonight that this really wasn't the mission that he could screw upon. And what does he go and do? (Though it wasn't intentional) He screws it up, big time, he might add. Mark really didn't mean to do this, of course, but he ended up getting made by one of the enemy operatives. How in the world was Mark supposed to know that he would get mad and then kidnapped. And that's where he has been ever since. Mark will say it once again: Taeyong would kill him for this. It was one of the only things Mark was sure of happening tonight.

If it wasn't that obvious, to begin with, from Mark's previous statements, then this wasn't how his night was supposed to have gone at all. To clear things up, it would be in everyone's best interest to have Mark start his story from the beginning. Earlier in the week, their boss Lee So Man had called them all into his office for a meeting. And he only ever did that when they had a mission. And Mark was right; they all had been called in because they had a new task for their team. This mission ended up going to their team U. Their company had gotten a tip from one of their confidential CI informants about an upcoming arms deal. The information didn't know that much about the exact details, though. They could tell their boss that it was going down at a club called Empathy. It was one of the lesser-known, shadier clubs in the city. The club was a well-known drug hub, among other illegal activities known to go on there. Lee So Man had deemed this information as solid and thought that U would be a good choice for this one. And that led to him, Taeyong, Ten, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Lucas, WinWin, and Taeil.

Working for SM has been an experience for Mark, to say the very least. When he got recruited by an agent in middle school, it still felt like a dream some days. Before he knew it, he was off on a plane to Seoul, South Korea. And he's been training and going on missions there ever since. SM was one of the biggest spy agencies globally, and they dealt with a lot of the dirtier stuff when it came to the spy world. They have operatives from all over the world, and they do a lot of missions internationally. Mark had felt honored to have been selected to become a part of something bigger than him like this. SM has teams such as TVXQ, Super Junior, Shinee, EXO, Red Velvet, and it's the newest group which Mark was a part of NCT. This group was designed by Lee himself. It was surprising to have infinite members in one group at once. Typically there was only a set number of members in a particular group. There are about 4 different subunits of the group, 127, U, Dream, and WayV. Mark is a part of 3 out of 4 of them.

This brings us back to the topic at hand here. NCTU was picked to fill out this assignment. He gave them all the information and left Taeyong to plan out the rest of them. Even though U has no set leader, everyone goes to Taeyong with their problems. Even Taeil goes to Taeyong, and he's a little over a year older than him. Qian Kun, one of their Chinese operatives, is the leader of the WayV unit, which mainly deals with issues that occur over in China. Taeyong was the leader of 127 Unit. And Mark himself somehow ended up being in charge of its younger unit, Dream. He hates being the one in control, but he was deemed one of the ones who had enough common sense to run things. And it didn't help that much that the kids loved to drive him crazy.
