Chapter 4- Donghyuck's Proof that Mark is an idiot.

Previously on NEO GOT MY BACK....

Mark was just lying in bed, relaxing, not expecting anything else to happen. Then he heard it. "MARK LEE, YOU DUMBASS!" Mark winced at the volume of the shout. He forgot about one significant person on the team. Who sounds like he's coming through the wall to beat his ass. Welp, this is about to get interesting.

***************************

There was one person that Mark forgot to mention. Someone was missing between Jeno and Jaemin. Lee Donghyuck or Haechan is his code. He was an omega, and he was Taeyong's infamous little brother. He has spent his whole life in SM and has way more experience than Mark, even though he's younger. He's stubborn and outspoken and is one of the agency's top operatives. Donghyuck is trained in stealth and combat. And he acts a lot like his brother and, at the same time, his complete opposite. He is also the bane of Mark's existence.

One of Donghyuck's favorite things to do is to annoy people. He is one of the prominent people who likes to annoy Doyoung and get on his nerves. But his favorite person to annoy was Mark. The two of them have always butted heads a bit since they first met. Donghyuck was more open and aggravating than what Mark was used to. Mark even contemplated leaving at one point to get around him. But Johnny had talked him into staying. And after DOnghyuck came crying to him, begging him to stay, Mark had a realization. Donghyuck didn't grow up like Mark. His parents were killed after he was born, and he was raised around a bunch of spies. He didn't have an everyday life like Mark did. And he didn't know how to act around people like Mark did. After that day, the two formed a strong bond between them.

Their relationship has always been weird, especially to those around them. But Mark wouldn't change it for the world. Mark is close with Donghyuck, and he even loves Donghyuck... As a friend! As a friend! Donghyuck is one of his closest friends, and he wouldn't trade him for the world. But God, Donghyuck is so going to kill him now. Mark was a dead man.

*******************

It was a mere seconds later when the door to the med bay slid open, and a dark-headed blur came flying into the room. And all that poor Mark could do was brace for impact since he was stuck in the hospital bed. Where was Taeil when you needed him? No, scratch that, Taeil wouldn't help him; he'd just sit there and laugh. Where was Taeyong when you needed him? After all, this was his brother that's trying to kill him. Mark was brought out of his inner thoughts when he felt the impact. He let out a loud grunt as Donghyuck collided with him. So much for bracing for impact.

When Mark opened his eyes, he screamed. "AHH!" Mark yelled, falling his arms around. Luckily, Donghyuck was fast enough to subdue and restrain him before Mark could end up hurting him by accident. Once the two of them had calmed down a bit, they just stared at each other, breathing heavily. They remained like that for a few moments before Mark could find his voice again. "What. The. Hell." Mark gasped as he moved to try and get Donghyuck off of him. But the younger refused to budge, so Mark had to resort to alternative methods.

Donghyuck didn't know what to think. One moment, he was holding Mark down on the hospital bed. The next, he was recoiling when he felt something wet touch his face. It took a couple of moments to click what just happened in his head. But when it did, he shrieked as loud as he could and recoiled away from Mark, thus letting go of the elder. "AH!" Donghyuck screamed. "What the hell, Mark!" He said. Mark, finally able to move, sat up in bed. Though he had to be careful since Donghyuck was still sitting on his legs. "Hyung," Mark said. "Mark-Hyung." He said. Donghyuck just looked at him for a second before he rolled his eyes at him. "Whatever you say, Hyung." He said in a patronizing. Mark just shook his head at the younger.
