Lia turned to look at her side and frowned before she asked.

"What are you talking about?"

"How did you do that? I wonder how you, a man, turned into a woman. What about the undergarments?"

Having said that, the professor's hand went towards Lia's chest without permission.

Frightened, Lia hugs the book in her arms to avoid his hand. But then she felt the hem of her dress being grabbed.

"Are the undergarments really woman's?"

The man whispered without even a sound of breathing. Lia took a deep breath,
she recalled the dagger that Claude gave her and grip it with her hand.

'Eddie Kirkham is a sodomite.'

She remembers what Claude said, which was particularly a sensitive warning.

'I regret saying I have control over it, believing that it wouldn't happen to me.'

'By any chance, does that Young Duke knows? That the aide that I was supposed to meet in the library was Eddie Kirkham.'

"Don't do it. I'm warning you."

"What is there to be ashamed of between two men? It's just to clear up my
curiosity. I have no intention of making fun of you."

"Sir!"

As she tried her best to lower her voice, she glared as if she would kill Eddie, who was apparently calm.

It was when Eddie Kirkham's hand was reaching for the hem of her dress. "The joke ends there."

With a smell of damp rain, a sharpened blade touches Eddie Kirkham's neck.

Lia was dazed at the sight of Claude holding a sword. He was wet, perhaps from the rain. His neat hair drooped and covered his eyes, and his stiff uniform hugs his body.

Blood began to drip from Eddie Kirkham's neck that was touched by the blade. The embarrassed professor tried to smile and raise both of his hands at a shoulder level.

"I... must have made a big mistake."

"I have told you not to touch the student again."

"I didn't make fun of Sir Canillian. A joke between men..."

"That's just what you think, Eddie Kirkham."

Claude's gaze was Kxed on the frightened Canillia. The heavily suppressed emotions grow in his blue eyes like a lake. But Lia didn't know what it was.

"You've made it perfect for me to cut it down."

The tip of Claude's sword, which was on Eddie's neck before, moved to the
groin.

"Young Duke... That's too much. Stop it."

"Apologize."

"Forgive me for my mistake, Lord Canillian. I didn't mean to harass you."

The professor apologized to her without hesitation. Snapping out of her daze, Lia holds Claude's hand that was holding the sword.

"Duke Claude, stop it. There's a lot of eyes here."

"Why are you taking his side?"

"I'm not taking his side. Aren't there a lot of students from the academy? Because this is the library."

Being closer to her, he smells like a drenched lavender.

'I don't know why he had to visit the library while damped from the rain, but I'm so grateful right now.'

Still not taking his eyes off of her, Claude retrieved the sword and roughly pushed away the nape that he held tightly.

"There will be no more warning, Eddie Kirkham."
