'Should I run away? Should I go out on the other side?'

She was in the cold water, but she could clearly feel the cold sweat dripping
down. As she already fled several times, she couldn't easily make a decision.

'If I run away from here, he'll be suspicious or get angry at me.'

'Even so, we can't swim together.'

Lia glared at the Young Duke as he was looking down at her with his vest button undone. The vest that was taken off is placed in the basket containing some towels, he then unbutton his shirt one after another.

"The water must be quite cold."

"I'm used to it, but the Duke might feel uncomfortable."

Unlike before, Lia moved little by little to the deep instead of being restless o run away. He then let a small smile.

"That place is deep."

"This much depth is easy."

"Don't be arrogant and stop. There are rare rocks that are out of the way. No matter how good you swim, you'll get in trouble if you foot got stuck on it."

Speaking as if warning her, he pointed to where she was standing.

Lia fumbled on the floor with her toes. As Claude said, if the foot got stuck between the stones, something terrible would happen despite having good swimming skills.

As he rolls his eyes with a frightened look, he shakes his head and puts one knee on the floor.

"Scary, isn't it?"

"Of course. I know how precious my life is."

"Really? I'm glad to hear that. I thought you had at least ten lives."

"But... Aren't you going to come in?"

The man who said that he would come in right away was still shirtless.

"I want to jump in, but then I don't know what the Prince might do. I can't just leave him alone on the hunting ground."

He calmly said and washed his face with cold water. Then wipe off the water on his chin and shake off his wet hair.

"Why? Did you expect we'll swim together?"

She fell for it.

(t/n: and i fell for it too. mf claude >_<)

'Was he just trying to tease me again this time?'

"Absolutely not."

Claude continued behind her, as she turned around thinking that her face might've turned red.

"Canillian, the Prince's hounds will come running here. So don't ever come out of the water until you can't see me."

When he says so, he stood up and stares at her. Lia nodded and swam deep into the water.

Each time she touches the clear water with both hands, the picturesque water surface is loosened.

Claude was still standing next to the horse and staring at her, she stopped because of the tickling sensation.

'Not yet?'

Somehow, she thought she heard a dog barking from afar.

Lia took a deep breath and dived deep into the water.

When the hounds arrive there, the Prince and his entourage appear. If it weren't for Claude's words, she might be in a more difficult situation than now.
