'He has a wound.'

As Lia strokes his face, Claude grins after wiping off the blood with the
back of his hand.

"It's nothing."

Fortunately, Claude wasn't seriously injured. But there were bruises all over his body and small cuts on his face.

Lia held back the anger and applied an ointment from Owen to the affected area.

Owen has been restricted from entering the second floor for three days since the last incident.

Any employee that dare touch their Master's belongings without permission deserves a great punishment.

However, the decision was still up to the Master. And Claude showed mercy for Owen's mistake.

"It's done."

Lia put a shirt over Claude's shoulder, where there's a whiff scent of mint. A man who's sitting quietly on the sofa with his head bowed, fiddles with his flushed ears and puts an arm on the shirt.

With a muscular body and large callused hands, Lia felt sorry for him while he puts the small buttons of the shirt.

Wiping her hands with a wet towel, Lia approached him.

"I still don't understand. Why did you go into the building that was about to collapse? No matter how much you have to save people..."

Lia asked as she continues to button his shirt for him.

It was a good thing that she didn't cry watching the building that almost collapse.

The corner of his lips rose slightly while looking down at her pink fingers as it moves.

"The building was classiIed as a dangerous establishment, and it had already been ordered so the residents can relocate. Though it was quite unexpected that it suddenly collapsed, but I knew the condition of the building better than anyone."

"Ha, is that so... You're not scared? That building... it almost gives in!"

"I know. That's why I was surprised. If it wasn't for you, it would've been a
big mess. Were you worried?"

"And whose fault is that...?!"

Hot breath puffs over her lips as she looks up. His blue eyes, like that of a lake, were right in front of her.

Lia lifted her heel as close as she could reach, still staring at Claude's face.

Claude grins, with their lips pressed to each other, and hugged her.

"I want to repay the one who saved my life."

"Well, if it's like that... then, I have to repay His Grace every day."

Lia caressed his cheeks, and kissed his lips again.

Claude carried Lia and sat her on the desk, he tilts his head to the level of her blouse.

Then, with his teeth, he pulled the ribbon of Lia's blouse.

"Your existence is enough to pay me back. Only you."

How can a man say this without hesitation?

Getting shy, Lia was at a loss for words and just watched his lips touched her fair skin.

For a moment, a faint moan from the person, whose case is similar to that of someone who shouldn't have been born, passed by like a distant memory.

She runs her finger to his hair, pressing down her gloomy heart for no reason.
