If the Marquis of Cosoar is the pinnacle of elegance, the capital's
townhouse was heavily armed with masculine understatement.

The sound of the two men's shoes continued on the blue carpet.

"Hey, Kieran. Can you just relax? You already knew. Falling in love at first
sight."

Ian said as he walked behind Kieran with a wistful look on his face. Kieran's voice rises due to Ian's nonchalance.

"No matter how much you have fallen in love, it's still about marriage! Canillia is still young!"

Kieran's judgement was a mess due to Ian's sudden declaration. Even though he's quite free-spirited, Ian is still a part of a Royal family. So he didn't expect it to be so self-righteous.

If he had known that this would happen, Kieran would've hidden the fact that Canillia is a woman until the end.

'Should I have hurried back to the Empire a little sooner?' Kieran question himself.

Kieran tried to give freedom to his younger "brother", who had been controlled to live as a man. He wanted to help her get away from their repressed lives and for her to live the life that she wanted, to a place that she want.

But when Ian Sergio suddenly proposed, the story changed. As soon as Lia becomes a woman, she will be deprived of her freedom. And the King of Gaior will push the marriage for the benefit.

It was a question that clearly shows the answer without having to think about for a long time.

"I'm sure this will make Lia in trouble. That was a hasty proposal, Ian."

Ian's gaze deepens at Kieran's calm tone.

"Even if she gets a bit in trouble, she can just take her life."

"What do you mean 'life'? Who's trying to take Lia's life? The anarchists from Louver?"

"Kieran. Do you think the Marchioness would leave Canillia alone, as she
had lived on your behalf? If you thought so, then I'm disappointed."

Ian clicked his tongue that stopped Kieran from walking.

'Mother.'

Kieran clenched his jaw hard, and stares at the end of the hallway. The strong sunlight that shines through the Eastern window weighed on
his shoulder.

Ian calmly passed by Kieran and put his hands on the back of his head.

"It's also goes with you, Kieran. Marrying someone you don't want for your family. But even if it's self-righteous, I'm in love and Canillia... will change gradually. After all, sincerity can work."

As he said so, Ian looked back at Kieran, who was glaring at him like he would kill him. Ian frowned as if he was disappointed.

"And I'm exerting tremendous patience right now. I want to put a ring on it right now."

"....You're crazy, Prince."

"That's something I used to hear quite often. However, Kieran... Did you
know?"

Ian's calmly smile, and his emotion is similar to a faint irritation.

"That the craziest man is closer to Canillia than me. It's really unpleasant and annoying. The Cayenne Empire is starting to get uncomfortable."

As Claude clenched his fist, the black leather gloves pulled tightly.

It was strange to see his father with a rough beard. Duke Maximilian was at the center of power and is stronger than anyone else. Even the Emperor often expressed his awe for the Master of the North.
