When she opened the window to ventilate the room that was filled with damped firewood, a cold wind blew in.

It won't be odd even if it snows. And the seasons...

With a thick wool blanket over her shoulder, Lia puts down her pen and neatly folded the letter.

It'll be delivered to Louver through the postman tomorrow.

But so far, the letter has never been properly delivered.

During those 11 seasons, most of the letters were often returned, and the rest of the replies didn't come.

Lia sighed as she opened the drawer where the returned letters are.

"Tomorrow will be different."

Mumbling to herself, she got up.

Her fair feet can be seen under her pajamas, and her hair that has grown in length to her chest flows in the cold wind.

Her appearance was reflected in a rattling glass window as she rummaged through the firewood.

A woman with a bubbly soft skin, an undeniably beautiful features, and a glass-like eyes, stood in it.

Completely naked under a lady shirt, Lia stood by the window in the cold wind and swept her coveted hair.

There are rare lights illuminated in the city where darkness has fallen.

The
night when she couldn't feel that life has been going on for years.

Three years ago, the Imperial army began an all-out war with Gaior. It wasn't long after she returned to the capital from the neutral area.

The Imperial army, which had restored the area of Valencia, was unstoppably advancing North.

As the young noblemen got encouraged by the relentless actions of Duke Claude, they headed to the battlefield one after another.

The academy ceased to operate in lockdown and the graduation was postponed.

Because of this, she was able to remain in the capital. However, the Marchioness returned to Cosoar with Kieran.

Now that Marquis Gillard's survival is uncertain, the house needed a powerful successor.

'Lia, please have some tea with me tomorrow. Seriously, when will this tedious war going to end...?'

Lia was sitting by the window, still lost in her thought, and frowned once she remembered of her appointment with Rosina.

"What would she want me to wear this time?"

After Kieran returned to Cosoar, Rosina invited her to the Imperial Palace whenever she had time. They go swim together, played tennis some other times, and learned proper horseback riding.

She reasoned that Eli, whom Claude have entrusted, couldn't be kept in the horse yard alone. However, Rosina cared for Canillia like a real sibling.

That's not all of it.

Sometimes, she secretly enjoyed dressing up Lia.

As she enjoys chess more than playing dolls, Rosina, has the same hobby as Pipi, would be amused and get tired after.

Eventually, Lia was blinded by Rosina's favor. Rosina was an exceptionally in good terms with the Duke, who might become her sister-in-law.

And there were days when people would like to gossip.

"My Lady!"

She was about to close the window and go to sleep. But Pipi, who had finished her duty on the first floor, rushed in.
