'After all, is the horse trained for a noble that different? Or Eli is just that special?'

Despite not being out for such a long time, Eli walked gracefully without showing any signs of too much excitement.

Lia decided to have a light walk. Her legs were almost healed, but she's still a bit scared.

She doesn't want to startle the reserved and delicate Eli with any problems that may arise.

The misty forest that they trudged into was mysterious and beautiful. As the caretaker said, it seemed that Lia doesn't want to hear the occasional sound of the gunshots from the Eastern forest.

Rather, she felt like a fool getting startled from it.

Lia smiled and hugged Eli by the neck. Then the clever horse even slows down.

Stepping on wet soils and leaves, Lia went to a place that emits a strong scent of water.

The fresh smell of plants that have just sprouted some leaves refreshed her exhausted mind.

Lia looked up at the vaguely exposed sky beyond the mist and closed her eyes.

The forests with signs indicating the locations were full of consideration, labeling from one to ten.

In this way, no one will be able to get lost even if they try to.

'Who was the person who installed the signs first? Wasn't it made for someone who adores this forest?'

After passing through the signs that were installed in a child's height and entering the forest for a long time, they were able to reach a small stream.

Perhaps it's near to the water that the place became more foggy than the other area. It was a beautiful place full of hyacinths with their buds bowed down.

Admiring the scenery, Lia got off the horse and a sharp pain passed through her ankle that penetrated through the thigh.

Lia was surprised and quickly find support in Eli's body.

"Are you all right?"

Startled by the unexpected voice, Lia turned around and saw a person slowly getting up from sitting on the branch of a tree.

It was Claude's cousin, the one she saw at the dinner last night. A man of
Lia's age with a blonde hair.

'Was his name 'Carso'?'

Lia tried to stand upright and give him courtesy.

"I'm fine."

"I think your legs are in discomfort."

"It might be because it's been a long time since I rode a horse."

Carso came closer, he was a young man with an exceptionally similar appearance to Claude.

He's probably the only one among his relatives whom she finds a similar side to Claude.

Carso also has blue eyes, he smiles and leans forward.

"I've seen it before, but I didn't know that the Lady would be able to handle Eli. So I doubted it."

With a grin, the young man couldn't get any closer to Eli, so he curiously glanced around. Eli turned his head and was quite annoyed, then it drinks some water from the stream.

On the other side was a black horse that Carso brought.

"Didn't you go hunting, my Lord?"

"I don't like barbaric things. I prefer somewhere serene. What brings you to
this deep forest, my Lady?"
