Jimin POV
It's a few days later when I'm back at work, having managed to gather all of my friends together plus Namjoon hyung so that I can convince my friends to help me gain proof on Taemin that he had been the one to destroy everything Yoongi and I had had together. I'd had to wait until Thursday so that Taehyung could be off of work so that I could get my friends back on my side of things.
"You really think Taemin is the one who posted everything?" Hoseok questions uncertainly, glancing between myself, Namjoon and Jungkook. Namjoon simply looks between me and Jungkook though, and I find myself nodding with certainty.
"I just need to get proof that it was Taemin. But I have no doubts that he's the one behind all of it. I would never expose Yoongi hyung the way he'd been the day he released his album earlier this week. You guys should know me well enough to know that. But that means that some third party has those photos and videos and Taemin has had it out for Yoongi since the day he found out the two of us were together." I explain as I glance between Hobi and Taehyung.
It hadn't been hard to get Jungkook on board with me, and Namjoon had gotten off my case after Yoongi gave him an earful. It left me getting Hobi and Taehyung on my side though, and I knew it wasn't something I was going to be able to do on my own, hence why I've got Namjoon and Jungkook here as well.
"How do you plan to get proof that it was Taemin though, Jimin? It isn't like he's just going to willingly air it out that he's been behind everything, especially not after what's been going on recently." Namjoon points out with mild worry. I smile at this though, taking a big breath at what I know needs to be done.
"That's where I need help. I need someone to see if they can't coax him into admitting what he's been doing all along. Taemin has a hell of an ego, something that he only ever considered putting away when it came to me. It's clear that the goal had been to break Yoongi and me up, something I regret having let him done successfully, but that means we need someone to try and get close enough to him on the subject to see if he'll admit it. We just have to make sure it's being recorded when it happens." I elaborate, hoping everyone will still be as on board with this as I am.
I hadn't bothered to tell Yoongi about what the plan was, didn't want to worry him or have to make him think about everything that's happened between us more than I can't imagine he already does. It had also worked out to do this today since he'd managed to schedule an appointment with his doctor, and I can only hope that he's keeping his promise to handle getting that sorted out while I work on this for us.
"We can use one of my camera's for the recording. I think you'll want video to it though, not just voice. Everyone will know that voices can be manipulated and so we should cover our asses by catching video when it happens because we won't get a second shot at this. Hobi should be the one to do it though. Taemin knows that Hobi's had it out for Yoongi since everything went down, and it should be someone Taemin knows as well which means that Hobi's the perfect person. Namjoon hyung and I don't stand a chance since he caught the three of us together in your studio when you ended things." Jungkook offers as he glances over in my direction.
"You really think he's going to trust me enough to say anything to me?" Hoseok asks nervously as he looks between all of us, clearly not feeling too strongly over the matter. I frown at the question, knowing Jungkook's right in his analysis of who'd be best fit to complete such a task, guessing that Hobi knows it as well, even if he doesn't like the way things have turned out.
"You might just be the only person at all, Hobi, that he would trust enough to actually say anything to. He doesn't know Tae, so he won't want to confess anything to him. Taemin has heard you bitch about Yoongi these last several months though, he knows - or at least believes - you're on his side with all of this. None of us have been around him since we broke up, which means he has no idea as to what your thoughts are on everything at this point. Even if Jungkook hadn't been there when I broke up with him, he's heard Kook talk about Yoongi around us. He knows Jungkook never felt as strongly on the matter as you did. You're our best chance." I breathe out, hoping to reassure Hoseok enough to agree to this.
Hoseok sucks in a deep breath at all of this, leaning back in the chair he's sat in as he runs his hands through his hair, taking in the fact that he's our best shot at this. He's soon groaning, rubbing his hands over his face before dropping them again, not bothering to look up at any of us.
"Fuck me and my goddamn loud mouth. Alright. Jungkook, I'm going to need your help. I've got an idea how I can do this and get the evidence necessary, but the idea I have in mind isn't going to get this done tomorrow. Lucky for you, I'm still in need of a couple songs left on my next album before I can release it, which means I could try and collaborate with Taemin. It gets him in my studio, a controlled environment where I can trust everything is captured well, but it'll take a little time." Hoseok finally breathes out, glancing between me and Jungkook as he speaks. A small smile forms at his response, grateful that he's willing to help me with this. Grateful that he's willing to help me and Yoongi both.
"I can help you with that, hyung." Jungkook confirms, small smile splayed on his face as well as he looks over to me. It makes me grateful that they're the people I'm friends with, grateful for always hearing everything out and always being so supportive.
"Should've said no when they pushed me to actually debut. I wouldn't be able do shit if I just stayed as a choreographer." Hobi grumbles unhappily, shaking his head to himself. I know he's not appreciative of having to be the one to have this conversation, not appreciative of having to be responsible for getting me my freedom back. It's the nerves that's talking right now, and I get up to give him a hug, knowing there's nothing I'll be able to say to make matters any better.
