Do you really want me to rant about me being to busy with another book again. I'm sorry, but I promise to update more when it's summer.

Magnus sat on the couch, stress eating a gallon tub of Birthday Ice Cream (the one with light blue syrup and colorful sprinkles) and trying watching Doctor Who. But the safety of a certain blue eyed Shadowhunter made him ignore the show completely again!

"Where is he?" He asked Chairmen Meow, who laid on the edge of the couch his mouth covered in blue frosting and sprinkles.

It's been hours since Alec left to go the Institute. His father came back from Idris and he wanted the entire Lightwood family there. Magnus tried texting and calling Alec, but it all got sent to voice mail.

"Chairmen, do you think Alec is getting cozy with Church right now?" He asked. The cat looked up at him and have a look that said, 'Remember, James took him away to California.'

Magnus sighed, and sat the now empty tub in the coffee table. He'd know he would have to work that off when Alec got back, but for now, he proofed his body into shape, not caring who or where he poofed the fat.

The door then knocked and Magnus snapped it open. On the other side was Alec, blood dripping from his face and his shoulder, where three deep holes were buried.

"Alexander, what happened?" He asked, running over to the pale Shadowhunter. Alec grunted in pain as he stumbled in the loft.

"Demons that could throw poisoned spikes," he moaned out. "I was hit by the three of them before I killed him. The others weren't there to see it since it was to faraway from the Institute. I was able to pull out the spikes before and already threw the away in a dumpster in an abandoned alley."

"Your stupid," Magnus said, gently moving his boyfriend to the living room. He snapped his fingers and made the mess on the table disappear and made the Chairmen jump in fear

"I'm sorry," Alec smiled, rising his uninjured arm to wipe the sweat off his face. His blue eyes became pale, and his skin was almost translucent.

"Why didn't you take a cab?" Questioned the warlock, as he removed the boy's coat and shirt to see the wounds better.

"I needed the fresh air to think," he said simply, closing his eyes and keeping his mouth ajar.

"Nonononononono," Magnus freaked, lightly hitting Alec's face. "Don't close your eyes. Never close our eyes. Stay awake." Alec slightly opened them. Magnus snapped his hands again, making everything he needed for the removals of demon poison and cleaning out a wound.

"I'm sorry Magnus. I should have taken a cab."

"It's okay darling," Magnus reassured, mixing multiple glasses together. "Just tell me why you needed fresh air?" Magnus wanted Alec to talk to keep his mind of the pain, to stay awake, and just because Magnus felt like it had to do with Robert.

"I was at the Institute having dinner with my family, when my father asked how my life was going. I told him I was doing great. How we were planning on finishing our trip, though it's been months since the entire thing started. Dad just huffed like he wanted to say something, but he didn't say it out loud. I asked him what was it, and he told me that you just wanted to cheek out more guys and girls. By this point I got a little mad and told him you wouldn't do that, and he said that all fags are like that, even half fags. Said they would do anyone if they had a dick. Jace and Izzy, who brought Simon and Clary, all tried to help me, saying it wasn't true and stuff, but he keep pointing his fork at me, and acted like I agreed all that and do it."

Magnus finished the last of the position remover and spread it over his shoulder. "Im sorry Alexander. I should have been there to help defend you."

"He was insulting us Magnus," Alec hissed, the liquid stinging his shoulder. "He was calling both of whores and sluts. Said I was too naive and let you take advantage of me." Tears left Alec's eyes.

"Your not naive Alexander. You were careful your whole life not to fall for anyone not worthy. Sure you fell for a blonde, but he was the only boy you ever hung around and you felt safe with." Magnus whispered the spell that healed all of Alec's injuries.

"I feel like an idiot," Alec whispered as he returned to his normal colors. "I though he finally accepted us. Accepted you. Me. But I'm just the his gay whore son, who is in love with a Downworlder."

"None of that is true love," Magnus comforted. "Except that your in love with a Downworlder." Alec smiled lightly, as he looked into Magnus's cat eyes.

"It is, but he thinks it's so bad that I am. I mean, your nice, funny, sweet. And even for a bastard like himself, he should notice he could have selfish thought of having a power son-in-law one day."

"Are you proposing to me?" Asked Magnus with a smirk. Alec smiled himself.

"No. I'm not ready for that. Yes, I'm in love with you, but I don't want to deal with all the wedding plans, or to have children, or if we should get a minivan. I'd rather just relax in this loft, with you and Chairmen by me. My boyfriend and his cat." Magnus leaned down and kissed the black haired Shadowhunter on the forehead, tasting his sweat.

"I love to get married someday love, but your right. It's to much stress to put in a person. I'd rather stay looking young." Both of them laughed at that.

"Your immortal Magnus. You always look young," Alec smiled, as he was able to slowly wrap his injured arm around Magnus's neck.

"I can still get worry lines," Magnus said, gently touching his fingers to Alec's cheek. "And my hair can still turn grey and fall out with worry."

"But I would love you anyway," Alec said pulling Magnus's face closer to his. Their lips touched and both felt their chest fill with fireworks, shaped in their other's name.

"And I love you," Magnus said after finally finding enough strength to pull away from his love. "How about we get cleaned up so we can go to bed." Alec nodded his head. Magnus then picked the Shadowhunter up bridal style and carried him to their room.
