Warning: BoyxBoy
Alec zipped up the last of his duffel bags. Magnus tried to convince him to use actual suitcases, but duffel bags where easier to shove belongings into, and easier to cram into a vehicle then block suitcases fitted for only limited clothing and use up a lot of space, no matter what position you shove it.
"I'm finally done," said Alec, picking up his two bags. Magnus whipped his head upwards, giving an evil glare toward his boyfriend.
"Well, good for you," Magnus hissed, the words dripping with venom. "While you have room for your stuff, a barely have room for my hair products." Alec rolled his eyes, placing his bags back down on the bed. He walked over to Magnus and saw he had three open suitcases on the floor. One had tops; vests, coats, and shirts. Another had his bottoms; pants (leather and sweatpants), shorts, and boxers. The third had a mix of his jewelries and makeup products.
"Well, instead of actually folding up your clothes, try rolling them up. Not only does it save space, but it also a way to prevent folds and wrinkles." Alec already started to grab a few of Magnus shirts, and started to roll them up like they do with carpets. Magnus blew a limp piece of hair out of face from the side of his mouth before starting to do the same with his pants.
When they had all the clothing wrapped up, they where able to squish them both into on suitcase.
"See," Alec smirked, "now you can put all your other hair products in the fourth bag." Magnus's face returned to its natural glow, as he calmly shoved his blow drier into the last bag.
"Thanks Alexander," he smiled. Alec smiled back and sat on the bed, watching as Magnus color-coordinated his hair-dye and bottles of glitter.
"I know I've asked this before, but do you really need all of this stuff? I mean, it seems a little much." Magnus rolled his feline eyes.
"Because we are gonna be going to Miami," he said, "it's like, one of the most fashion forward place by the beach and full of cute people I know of."
"But does that mean you have to pack half the apartment?" Alec asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes," Magnus smiled, zipping up the last suitcase. "Finally, done." The warlock stood up, and arched his back, hearing his spine crack and pop as he stretched it.
"So, you got the rental? And what about Chairmen? Did Clary say yes?" Alec tried remembering everything left on his mental to-do list.
"She said she could," Magnus said. "And the rental should be outside." Alec sighed in relief.
"Okay, so I'll get the Chairmen and all of his stuff." Alec walked out of the room, closing the door. Magnus heard the sound of his boyfriend's feet move further away, until he was sure he was far enough, when he dug into the side pocket of his jewelry suitcase. He pulled out a black velvet box, where inside was a specially made, and dare he say enchanted ring.
He opened it, revealing the marriage run that was made with obsidian stone, one of the sharpest materials alive, so not only will it be the reminder of their-possible-marriage, but Alec can use it to kill people. He didn't want to doubt that Alec will say no, but the Shadowhunter, no matter how much he tries, still cares a little to much of his parent's and Clave's approval. Their was a 25% chance that Alec would say no, or at least not right now. Magnus knew he would wait for Alec, until he was older then the Statue of Liberty till they married, but being a Shadowhunter, it was very unlikely for him to live that, and that's before throwing himself in front of his family to protect them. Magnus just wanted him to put on the ring, so that the enchantment will take place.
"Magnus," yelled Alec, metal clanging and hissing in the background. "The Chairmen is on the ceiling!" Magnus closed the box and shoved it back into his bag, before rushing into the living room, revealing the white ball of fluff clinging on to the ceiling, fur frizzed up. Alec had a hug scratch on his cheek, his black jacket had white fur and was ripped to basic shreds. Their was even a small fire where the coffee table was.
