Alec walked behind Magnus, who was standing in front of a full body mirror, fixing his bright green tie covered in glitter. He wrapped his arms around Magnus's waist, showing off black Marks that covered his wrist.

"You look lovely, Maggie," whispered Alec into the warlock's ear full of piercings.

"As do you," Magnus purred, spinning around to hold Alec in his arms. He grabbed the soon ex-Shadowhunter by his wrist, tracing his index finger around the runes. "I'm gonna miss them," he said, admiring the Marks of the Angel.

"I always thought of them as ugly," said Alec, taking his hand back softly.

"I think my eyes are ugly, it tells people I'm the son of demon," Magnus confessed, looking at Alec's bright blue orbs.

"And I think it's what makes you, you," said Alec leaning in toward the warlock. Their lips locked, fitting together like a puzzle. Alec melted in Magnus's touch, like every other time, and Magnus seemed to do the same.

"Let's go," spoke Alec, his lips dancing on Magnus's, "We're supposed to meet Max and Cole."

Magnus and Alec sat on one side of the booth. They were sitting in an Italian restaurant that was hard to pronounce and remember. Downworlders riddled the place, giving Alec strange looks.

"You think they would be okay with a Shadowhunter in a Downworlder restaurant, especially now that they know that I'm dating the high warlock," joked Alec, as he saw Max walking in with a man-Cole, he supposed. His eyes were similar to Magnus's-in fact, they were exactly like Magnus's-green, specked with gold, the pupils silted like a cats.

"Magnus," yelled Cole, racing toward the booth.

"How you doing brother?"'asked Magnus, getting up from the edge of the booth, wrapping his arms around Cole.

"He's your brother?" Asked Alec, surprised that Magnus didn't tell him anything about him. Acually, he kind of guessed.

"Yea, Cole is my twin brother," said Magnus, and he was right. They had matching caramel skin, their eyes reflecting mirrors, and their hair dyed multicolored, spiked and covered in glitter. The only thing that was different was their faces.

Magnus's had a straighter, yet softer face, while Cole's seemed rounder and sterner.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Asked Alec before he knew the words came out.

"Because I wanted you to meet him as a friend before my brother," said Magnus, sitting back next to Alec. Cole and Max sat across from them, Cole wrapping his arm around Max's shoulder.

"So, do you have any news?" Asked Max, looking down at the golden ring placed on Alec's finger.

"We're engaged and I'm getting my marks stripped," said Alec, twisting at the band, "just like you."

"But your braver then I was," said Max, snuggling closer into Cole, "when they stripped me, they made me suffer. They told me that being stripped was a coward way out. It was even worst the rape-I think." Tears started to fall from Max's eyes, but Cole quickly wiped them away. Max continued.

"I didn't even had anyone who loved me then. Maryse and my parents basically begged the Consul for me too."

"But the Consul's daughter is a lesbian, she wouldn't strip Alec without her daughter in line," said Magnus, putting down the menu.

"The Inquisitor has the last say in this," countered Max,"he chooses who gets stripped for their 'crimes'," he said, putting quotation marks around "crimes". "And since your father is apparently the new Inquisitor, he will most likely strip you. He always has been homophobic. Even when dating Maryse."

"Is that why you truly chose to strip your marks?" Asked Alec in a rude tone, "because my dad?"

"When I came out, my family wasn't accepting. Neither was Robert. He refused to ever see Maryse if she had a gay brother, he didn't even want to Michael after he did. I wanted the best for them."

"You knew Michael Wayland?"

"He was my boyfriend at the time," confused Max, "we were secretly dating. He loved Robert, while I couldn't help but think of him at the time. The rest of the story is what I told you."

Alec nodded, as a Fearie waiter wearing his work attire came. They ordered their food, and talked the entire meal.

As they left, they walked the longest way to Brooklyn, which was the bad part where the bad Downworlders ruled.

They bumped into a vampire, covered in grim.

"Don't dare touch me Shadowhunter," he yelled as he lashed his long fingers nails at Alec. Max jumped in his path, his claws ripping his throat. Cole yelled, as the vampire ripped Alec's throat. Magnus sent a blue ball of fire at the vampire, as Cole threw a yellow ball. The vampire burned, as the warlocks leaned over their loves.

"What do we do? We can't heal them, their must have been demon venom in his nails," Cole panicked. Magnus grabbed Alec's extra knife that he hid in his boots, and cut his wrist softly, drawing blood. He held it over the wound. Max gasped, and did the same. They both watched as the blood dropped into their necks.

Their necks glowed, and sealed shut. They both gasped, and opened their eyes.

Bright blue eyes with golden specks stared at the warlocks, their pupils silted.

It's been two years since the incident. Magnus and Alec sat on their new white couch, whacking their newly adopted six year old girl play with her younger brother.

A knock came from their door, and before Magnus or Alec could get up, Max and Cole walked in.

Max looked around eighteen now. The warlock made him age the same time to where Cole stopped. Same with Alec. Due to the prince of hell blood running through them, all signs of angelic blood burned away from them, and replaced them with its blood. Both were full warlocks.

"How's my wonderful nephew?" Asked Max, holding his little daughter, Jenna.

"Who are talking too?" Jokingly asked Alec. "Are you asking little Daniel?"

"That's right," murmured Max, letting Jenna down on the floor to play with Daniel and Jordyn. "How's my wonderful brother?"

We're doing good," replied Magnus. Since their wedding, they ditched their uncle/nephew titles and decided to be brothers. And due to Robert and Maryse forbidding Alec's siblings to see them, they needed siblings to care for.

"That's great brother," said Cole talking to Magnus.

Alec looked and thought what had his life changed into. He was actually glad for it all. He gets to live forever with his children, "brother", and his husband. His life couldn't be any better.
