Hey! How's y'all summer? Mine? Boring! Nothing to do, no one to hang out with, and I can't be gay with all my family around me. Gay pride was this week and I couldn't go or r even sneak out with my parents and siblings! I wants to be gay!!! As well as boyfriend!
But short story for ya. Your welcome.
Alec paced around the red heads room. Magnus asked the young boy to go to New York's Pride event and Alec knew nothing of what to expect or to do and he was freaking out.
So naturally he went to Clary.
"Calm down Alec," she said, staring at the raven haired boy. Alec kept pacing and muttering to himself.
"What the hell am I supposed to do? Do I hold his hand? Kiss? I'm not good at PDA..." He continued to rant and Clary stood up, walking over and grabbing her make up box.
"Alec, please stand still and I'm going to explain this to you." Alec did so and looked straight into the bright green eyes of his shorter friend. She opened her box and grabbed her brush.
"Pride is a place where gay, bi, pan, trans, and other sexuals are safe to be themselves," she grabbed the man's face and grabbed some colorful powder. "It's okay not to be Sexual with Magnus, but you could kiss him, or hold his hands and not be judged." Clary spread the powder on his face, below his eyes and across his nose. Alec refused to acknowledge the makeup and listened to her.
"Some things may be to intense for you, since you barley know the world of mundane LGBT," she continued. "Just don't be to rude when you see some of them." She lowered the brushed and grabbed the mirror. Alec glared into it and saw a glittery rainbow of the powder spread across his face.
"Why do I need make up," he asked.
"This is usually how must people show their sexuality. It means you are proud of yourself and what makes you unique. And this way, you don't have to wear anything, 'flashy'."
Alec hugged the little one and kissed her gently on the forehead. "Thank you."

Alec's rune marked hand was intertwined with Magnus's. They walked through the street smiling and giggling. Magnus wore pink, lavender, and blue makeup with matching rings and necklaces. Alec though it was to much for his boyfriend to go shirtless but he liked it. The freewheeling bisexual warlock showed more pride then anyone the young Shadowhunter has ever met.
"This is fun," Alec said, pulling the warlock close. Magnus smiled and kissed his Raven haired boy softly.
"It is my angel."
