The living room was filled with bottles of multi-colored liquids, powders, and other objects that even some Downworlders cannot identify. Magnus Bane sat behind a wooden desk with the Book of the White open in front of him, wearing a blue and black silk robe and matching sleep pants. He concentrated on the one spell that he assumed would be an immortal spell.
"A dash of Warlock blood," he read out loud as he brought a steak knife to the palm of his hand. He cut it softly, but hard enough to draw blood. The blood caused the greenish potion turn a brown color. Magnus heard the door in the direction of his bedroom open. He turned around to reveal his Shadowhunter boyfriend, wearing nothing more then black boxer shorts.
"What's going on," he asked looking at all the bottles. Alec's raven hair was messed up even more then usual, and his blue eyes were dull with sleep.
"I think I found an immortality spell. But only if you want it?" Magnus stared at Alec, whose face was full of shock.
"Is that your way of purposing?" Magnus laughed. Alec's face was know covered in a wide smile. The warlock loved as his boyfriend's eyes were know fully aware, with both happiness and fear.
"I guess it is." He snapped some of Alec's own clothes on him, and a dark blue box, opened to reveal a golden ring with green and blue jewel on it. He got on one knee and held out the ring, the potion was still in his grasp, like he was holding flowers. "Would you, Alexander Gideon Lightwood, do my the honor, and take this immortality spell, and be my husband?" Magnus held out the spell, a smirk on his face.
"Yes!" Alec raced across the room, avoiding all the bottles. When he got to Magnus, he placed his lips to Magnus's with a force so strong, that it caused him to drop the brown liquid. The bootle spilled into a bottle of what seemed to be tongue of a Forsaken, causing it to explode in a cloud of rainbow. The world around them went black.

Alec woke with a massive headache. He was on the floor off Magnus's loft, with prices of broken glass, powders, and liquids surrounding him, and an unconscious Magnus across the room. When he sat up, he noticed he was wearing the ugliest clothes he had ever seen: faded black jeans with holes, a black ratted sweater with holes, and not one price of glitter to be seen.
"A-Alec?" Alec turned to see that Magnus was now sitting up, his face has covered in what seemed like soot.
"What's up, Maggie!?" Magnus flinched and gave a look of worry toward Alec.
"Are you okay Alec?"
"No. My eyes are bleeding over the clothes I'm wearing! Don't you have anything more colorful?" Magnus's expression turned into a mix of worry and happiness.
"Of course I have clothes Allie!" He started to walk to his and Alec's bedroom, with Alec trailing behind him. Unlike the other times were Alec walked trying to hide himself, no matter were he was; this time he walked like Magnus, like he was the the most important person in the entire world, almost as he was greater then God himself. As they walked into the bedroom, Magnus opened the closet to reveal the many shirts, vest, and pants. All of them were covered in glitter or sequence, and most in bright colors, mainly neon.
Alec jumped up and down and clapping like a fourteen year old girl when they find their crush has a crush on her.
"OMG, Maggie!" He raced in the closet and picked up the clothes with most glitter, the brightest colors, and the tightest he found.
"Alexander," spoke Magnus, still worried about his boyfriend. "Are you sure you don't want the darker clothes with no glitter that you gave me?" Alec gave him a questioning look, then started to laugh. It was rare to see Alec smile, even more rare to hear his laugh.
