Alec watched the stone tomb as rain pelted down on him and the others who attended Magnus's funeral. Catarina Loss stood next to Alec, tears rolling down on her face as a man with green skin, who Alec remembered as Ragnor Fell, wrapped his arms around her. He stood in front of the large crowd of Downworlders and some Shadowhunters who decided to be there Alec.

Isabelle was hugging Simon, who was rubbing her back and kissing the top if her head in comfort. Clary clung to Jace as he stood with an emotionless face, tears were streaming her face. Jocelyn was the same as her daughter, crying as Luke comforted her.

Ever since Magnus's death, all he noticed was the romantic moments between everyone in his life. Jace and Clary's stares. Isabelle and Simon's kisses. Jocelyn and Luke holds, even his mom and dad's jesters, even though they divorced. He didn't move from his spot, even as his friends and other guest started to leave. Only Alec, Catarina, Ragnor, Brother Zacharaih and a women with dark brown hair was left.

"I'm sorry for your lost," said the women, as she walked closer to the group. Her eyes were a stone grey, and full of tears. Zachariah had his arm around her shoulder, making Alec wince at sight. His dark hair covered his eyes, but he could see the pain on his face.

"Thank you," he replied, not wanting to be reminded that he lost the most important person in his life. Catarina and Ragnor went off to clear their minds, and Zachariah following. Alec was left alone with the women, who just looked at Alec at awe. He was never used to anyone looking at him, anyone except Magnus, who would always call him beautiful, magnificent, flawless, but he never believed any of those words. "Pardon my rudeness, but why are you staring at me?" Alec asked, trying not to snap at the stranger.

"I'm sorry, it just that, you look like my first husband," she said, chocking at the mention of her husband.

"I'm sorry, how'd he pass?" Asked Alec, trying to get his mind off Magnus.

"He died of old age," she replied. Alec looked at the women with surprise.

"But you like, twenty," he observed. She snickered as she took off a blue and gold ring that was on Alec's hand. It belonged to Magnus, and he always said that it reminded him of Alec, the blue of his eyes, and his personality that surrounded them. She closed her eyes, and Alec gasped as she grew a foot of height, her skin become darker and covered in a tattered suit. Her hair grew shorter and became black. Green and gold cat eyes replaced her grey eyes, and became slightly silted. Alec fell to his knees as Magnus now stood in front of him. He looked like he did before Asmodeus took his immortality. He ran toward the disguised women, completely forgetting that she was Magnus, as his lips smashed to hers.

He kissed forcefully as she kissed back, then pulled back, as she let the ring fall from her palms. She turned back to her true form, as Alec felt his face became red, with both embarrassment and anger. "I'm so sorry, Miss..." He stared at the girl, who was blushing as well.

"Theresa Herindale, but I prefer Tessa Gray. " Alec sat down on the wet grass, as he placed his head in his palms. He knew of Tessa, a warlock who had Shadowhunter blood in her, and had no marks. Also was one Jace's ancestors.

"Great," he moaned. "Not only did I kiss a girl, but my best friend's great-great-great grandma." Tessa crotched down and patted Alec's back.

"No, I'm the one who has the most to be sorry for," she said as she pulled Alec up. "I changed to your first true love, and I kissed you as well as you kissed me. You look so much like Will, that I thought you were him, for a moment"

"That's what Magnus always said," said Alec, chocking on Magnus's name.

"We will all miss him Alec," comforted Tessa. "He had a great heart, and he didn't deserve to lose his life like this."

Alec wiped his tears away, along with some rain water. "When Magnus and I broke up, I felt lost. Now that I know I can't get him back-" He was cut off by Tessa slapping him across the face.

"Sorry, but I know that felling. I loved both Jem and Will. I choose Will the first time, and Jem became Zachariah. When Will died, I felt alone. Not even my children filled that hole in heart like Will's love. Years I've watched my children's children die, and I felt even worst knowing that I can't save them in least they gain immortality by becoming a vampire or using dark magic." She looked down as Alec wrapped his arms around her. She cried into his suit, soaking the fabric.

"But, I learned that you just have to move on. That's what every immortal learns from of years falling in love, and losing those who are in our hearts. Mortals learn that too. You have to do that Alec. It's hard to forget your first love, but you need to think of Magnus. He would want you to move on."

"I don't want to move on. He was the only person who made me happy," said Alec, releasing Tessa from the embrace. "I loved Magnus, and he loved me. I know that. He would want me to move on, but I can't. I didn't want him to forget me if I died of old age, so I don't want to do the same."

"This is taking you no where Alexander," sighed Tessa, turning away from Alec.

"Thanks Tessa," said Alec, waving his hand at her. She gave a polite nod and walked toward Zachariah-or Jem.

He now stood alone. The tombstone stood by a crystal clear lake, were a mermaid named Annabel mourned for Magnus. Alec moved in front of the grey stone.

Magnus Bane, High Warlock of Brooklyn.

Alec looked at the last sentence. Goodbye old friend, was its translation from Indonesian to English. He bent down and placed his hand on Magnus's name. "I will always love you Magnus." He kissed the words, and closed his eyes as tears sprung free, falling off his face.

"And I will love you Alexander," said an unforgettable voice. Alec whipped around and says green and gold cat eyes staring at him.

"Magnus!"
