{Our First And Everlasting Memory.}
Act 1.|[January 8th, 2026. Early Morning.]|
*BEEP! BEEP!*
Oh my god...
*BEEP! BEEP!*
Shut up...
*BEEP! BEEP!*
SHUT UP. SHUT THE FUCK-
*Swipe!*
Ah... Well, then. Good morning, world... My brain can't even process things yet, I need some time to boot up... Oh crap, here comes a big yawn. Waaah... Yeah, let it all out. What time is it anyway?
I reach my hand out, searching for my phone. Wait, why am I looking for my phone? I literally just turned off the alarm. I'm a dumbass... Let's see, woah.
Ahaha... I slept through my alarm twice. It's already 8:20, but I set it up at 8 AM precisely. I'll just... Scroll through social media for a bit.
My eyes were still lazy, and the strands of my hair was getting in the way. Maybe I should cut my hair... I look around my apps, nothing new. No notifications, or anything interesting. Heck, nobody's even online yet. They probably already woke up, but how would I know. I guess I'm still all alone, for the 100th million time.
Alright, time for a little push. I pressed the panel beside me, opening the automatic curtains. The shine- Ah! God damn, that's bright! Phew... Get a load of that vitamin D! Well, time to get up. Where's my leg... You gotta be kidding me. It's on the ground, around 3 feet away from my bed. How the hell did it end up there?!
I sat on the edge of my bed, reaching my left foot as far as I could. Yeah right, that's not gonna happen. I may be considered as tall, but I don't have Kareem Abdul Jabbar's legs. If someone lived with me, this would look horrible. Ah, hell. It's gotta be done somehow!
Hah... I ducked my body down, and proned. Yep, I'm crawling on the floor to grab my artificial leg. Often, if I could reach my crutches I'd walk with that. But it's on the other side of my room at the moment, and I'm too lazy to use them as they're way more harder to walk with.
Finally reaching it, I inserted my right leg inside the metal piece. It made the usual zipping noise, tightening my muscles. People pity me when they see my leg, but I got so used to it now I just think it looks like a piece of Iron Man's suit.
I slowly and carefully start to stand up, holding on to my bedframe. OK... Now I can walk. Taking it step by step, I walk to my bathroom. Thankfully it's connected to my bedroom, so it's easy to go in. The floor was slightly wet and cold, I reached to the sink and took a brush.
Everyday, I wake up at around this time. I go outside if I want to, but I don't think today's that day. Right, the raid with the Sleeping Knights... And Yuuki. Thank god, I still remember you guys.
Now that's done, let's hop back in ALO! Or not. I don't want to die of starvation while diving, that'll be stupid. Guess I'll cook something up. Back to the kitchen we go.
"Hey, Google! Play me some morning jazz!"
A bleeping noise came from the device, "Playing... Morning Jazz Bossa Nova."
Ah... It's nice to listen to something without a headset once in a while. Thankfully, I'm not some audiophile that gets annoyed by the slightest audio dissonance. The speakers from that thing is enough to echo the entirity of my living room and kitchen. This apartment feels like the best hotel room ever, because I'm the only one that lives here.
