Ahaha... I didn't expect him to be such a romantic! Man, that's so embarrassing. Well, now I know not to mess with Shiki in slick one-liners! I'll be sure to use my genius intellect to come up with even more cooler and dashing lines later on!

Ehehe... He'll be surprised!

"YUUKI!"

"Eh?! What's going on?!"

I quickly stood guard, bracing myself for something. Oh... Nothing's happening?

Shiki sighed, "I've been calling your name three times now..."

"Eh? Really?" I shrugged, "Sorry, sorry! What's up?"

"This is the wrong way. We're supposed to go right after that turn, but you just dashed left without a care in the world."

"Oh... Ahaha, did I? My bad."

Did I really just space out? Uh oh... My attention span's getting worse, I'll have to mind where I go next.

We're still in the 22nd floor, heading back to the teleport gate so we can walk to the checkpoint located in Panareze way faster. But, where the heck are we anyway? This floor has so many deep forests I can't make difference in the pathways and branching roads!

It's all just... Greeeeeeen! Everywhere you look it's just pure and wild nature! I like it, it gives off some form of survival feel to it while maintaining the peace and quiet with the beautiful landmarks. That huge lake for example, bet there's a lot of fish inside there. I'll go fishing there soon, probably ask the guild too!

"We'll take this path, I think it's a little closer to the gate than the one we took before." Shiki utters, leading the way so we don't get lost.

"Yes sir!" I shout, my voice piercing through the leaves around us.

He seems to know this floor like the back of his hand. I wonder how much time he spends here? Maybe this is where he usually comes before he met me? Now I feel bad for interrupting his nap...

He seems fine with it though, I think. Yeah, if he thought I was a nuisance he would've just left me alone or shout at me, or something. Hmm no, he's not really the type of person to do that.

I'll just talk to him to make this walk more fun.

"So, you hang out around this floor a lot?" I asked, walking beside him.

"Yeah, you can say that. A friend of mine has a player home here, so I often visit them."

"A player home?! Wow, that must cost a fortune!"

"Around... 300.000 if I recall, I might be wrong though."

"300.000?! That's so much, you can rent out a whole buffet in a super fancy restaurant or something!"

"Pff." He chuckles, "You really like food, huh?"

"Of course! It's the number one priority, after all!"

"Really? What's your favourite food, then?"
