{The Day I Met Her.}
Act 2.

|[January 7th, 2026. Evening.]|

"HEEYYYAA!!" Yuuki shouted as she bashed open the inn door. "I'M BACK!"

Her hand was tightly grabbing mine, dragging me along her fast walks. After the fight, Yuuki insisted that I need to come with her. Of course as a normal human being, I was as confused as a man trying to understand a dog's barks.

Naturally, I said yes to coming with her. Hearing that she instantly popped up and smiled, she grabs my hand and we flew quickly. I never thought a girl would be dragging me around, holding my hand for that long. Girls CAN make you weak, huh. What? That doesn't make any sense!

The 27th floor, Ronbaru being the main town. I miss this place, it's all dark and nothing. Great for hiding, and lying low. Haha, I'm thinking like I'm still in SAO. That was a long time ago now.

Anyway, this inn is one of the few buildings in this floor. Aside from the typical shops, this building is usually where people go. Inside, was a group of people sitting around. And I have a feeling that they're connected with this Yuuki girl.

"Ah, Yuuki! Welcome back!" A girl's voice welcomed her.

"Yuuki! Welcome back!" A boy's voice followed.

I was dragged to the back of the inn, where a round table was located. There, the group- ahem, party was sitting around. And... Yeah, they instantly saw me. Their faces were as confused and curious as I was when Yuuki asked me to come here.

"Who...?" One of them mumbled.

"This is my friends! The Sleeping Knights!" Yuuki opened her hand, pointing at the party.

A guild... Hee...

"Nice to meet y'all..." I lowly uttered.

"Guys, this is-" She paused, "Wait... I didn't ask your name! Whoops..."

Yuuki stuck her tongue out and made an innocent face, resembling a character after doing a cute little mistake. I can only sigh to that, never knew someone would unironically be this clumsy all the time. It does make her cute... I'm getting ahead of myself again.

Her guild mates dropped their chins, giggling a little. One of them, a redhead Salamander keep eyeing me though... I'm nobody, buddy. I don't need any suspicions for anything.

I wave my hand, "Shiki. That's me."

"Hey-lo! Shiki!" One of them greeted me. A girl, just a bit shorter than me. Black ponytailed hair, and dark grey clothes means she's a Spriggan. "So... Yuuki, is he your new boyfrie-"

"AHEM." Yuuki scoffs, "Let's sit first, shall we?"

Yuuki sat down first and patted the chair next to hers, I took a deep breath and sat down. What have I brought myself into? Why am I sitting down next to this girl I just fought my ass off with, and with her entire guild! Hah... At least it's not a big one. This just looks more of a friend group to me than a guild.

Yuuki cleared her throat once more, and started introducing everyone.

"The Spriggan with the loud mouth here is Nori."

She waves at me sarcastically, so she's that type of person huh? I'll keep my guard up if she tries anything, I'm not letting anyone close!

"This shy guy here is Talken! He's a bit nervous when talking, but he'll open up!"

"Greetings..." The boy with the glasses greeted me.

"To you too." I waved.

A Leprechaun? I'm not sure. He doesn't look like a Sylph, so he probably is. His hair is an odd mix of yellow and so are his clothes. Glasses, the perfect conclusion to his shy personality. Seems like a nice person.
