{An Eternal Oath Of Love And Life.}
Act 7.|[January 12th, 2026. Evening.]|
{Shiki}
"So, which Station are we heading to?" I asked, tapping my train pass to the scanner.
"Um... Tsukimidai, Hodogaya... so... Hoshikawa." Yuuki answers, carefully.
Hoshikawa... Where is that again? Somewhere in Yokohama, I think. She did say that we have to take the train to Yokohama, and pass the main city station further. So... If we're going past there, it's further southwest? Damn, that's way past my apartment's area.
I pointed around on the station's map, asking Yuuki for specifics. When I pointed to the main Yokohama station, she kept saying "Down! Down!"until my finger arrived in the Nishi ward. When I past that point, she utters, "Not that far, dummy!"
And soooo~ I went back up a bit, and finally around Nishi-Yokohama, she said it's just to the left of that. Little did I know, there it is! Hoshikawa Station, just to the west of Nishi-Yokohama. In the map, since it's a bird eye's view, there doesn't seem to be any thing special around that area.
Anyways, I had a train to catch. Finally finding it and pinpointing the name of the station in my head, I dashed inside the next train that came in. We have about... Probably an hour or so until we reach there. And weirdly, there's almost nobody in this train. Probably a weird time to ride a train on a work day, since people haven't finished their jobs yet, probably. I said probably twice, damnit.
"Wow... Pretty empty here. Usually trains are jam-packed with all sorts of people! And now... pff, zilch." Yuuki uttered, lightly. "I haven't seen the inside of a train in so long..."
"For a Japanese person to say that, isn't it quite weird? This country has one of, if not, the most amount of people that uses public transport everyday."
"Ahaha, yeah. I didn't really ride a train that much back then anyway, I haven't really been outside of Yokohama for ages. The furthest I've been is probably somewhere around Tokyo, and that's it."
She hummed a noise, seems like she remembered something.
"Papa used to take us to the Meiji Shrine though! I still remember my first trip there vividly, sis and I used to run around the big entrance and go snack shopping around there like there's no tomorrow. Fun times..."
"Tokyo, huh? I've been all over Japan, but it seems like this place is just enough for me." I leaned my head to the window behind me, "I mean, Shibuya's too crowded. Sendai is... eh. And I've been to Kyoto and Osaka too, they're pretty much the same, one just has temples and statues, and the other one has blaring neon streetlights."
"Eh~? But going to Kyoto seems fun! I wanna see one of those cities someday, I heard that there's so much things you can do there. Like visiting those big temples, the beautiful bamboo forest, oooh~! Even those super fancy Obanzai dishes I heard about!"
Yuuki paused a little, she lets out a big sigh and giggled.
"But just being here for now is okay, too. I'm fine with anywhere, as long as all of you guys are with me. I want to meet even more new people, make new friends, see more of what your school is like, do all of that and just try to be... normal!"
