(Still Ian's point of view)
The wedding was a total disaster. I'm not complaining. It was pouring and the wedding was delayed an hour for reasons I don't know. When it finally happened I stood there for an hour listening to the speech from the priest before anything interesting happened.
Suddenly a man wearing a long black trench coat bursts through the doors.
"You! You'll never get away with this! It's not my fault! It was never my fault!" The man was dragged away by security. I have no idea what that's about. My mom seems quite shaken and they delay the wedding. My mom goes off to the side to talk to a man I've never seen before. Apparently it was an old friend that had gone, well, you know. The wedding went on from there and, well, they got married. It was confusing with the weird interruption but it was definitely more interesting. So, now my mom is married.

Dru's point of view

I'm so happy for my dad. Okay, that's a lie. The little interruption was quite amusing, I can't lie about that. But the wedding was like two whole extra hours! I tried to ask my dad about the strange man but he always says the same thing 'later'. So, I always ask him later. You can guess what he says.
I'm in the bathroom when I hear footsteps approaching. Low voices whispering in an urgent tone. I duck into a stall and stand up on the toilet seat so I can't be seen.
"...he has found us. I thought you said he was taken care of." I hear Ian's moms voice say.
"I thought we did too. But, he is taken care of now. You will never hear from him again." A low, young voice states. I recognize the voice as my dads sister.
"I thought you were going to leave this life behind, why did you marry him?"
"I have told you, Joan," Ian's mom speaks my Aunts name as if it is a secret. "It is my mission."
What?
The voices automatically stop.
"What was that?"
I had spoken out loud. The door to the stall is flung open and the two women stare at me with open mouths.
"How long were you listening?" Asks Joan.
"Long enough to know you're up to something." I try to duck past them but they each grab one of my arms.
"You foolish girl, you should have not been listening." Ian's mom looks a lot like him, I realize.
"What are you up to?" I ask suddenly feeling afraid.
"Dru, your father and I were never going to tell you but since you asked..."
"What's going on?"
"Your father and I, we are spies."
