***Anika's point of view***
"You're a spy!?" I stare at my mom in pure shock. "When did this happen?" I ask.
"Recently." She admits.
"Great. Is there anybody who's not a spy? Oh, right, Jordan's mom. She's the only normal one around here-"
"Actually..."
"No. Don't tell me she's a spy too!?"
"We kind of have to be. After finding out about Dru's mom and dad and Ian's mom, we had no other choice except-"
"Except?"
"Never mind. Forget I said anything."
"You know if that's what they said to you things would be a lot simpler."
"What do you mean?" My mom asks, genuinely confused.
"I mean," I start, "If they just told you "Never mind, forget I said anything." Life would be easier."
My mom smiles at me and my attempt to make light of the situation.
"So practically everyone I know is a spy." I say, summing up our whole entire conversation.
"Pretty much."
"Well that's just dandy."
I walk away with my head in the clouds, wondering what my life would be like if Jordan had never run into Ian in the hall. No spies. But I wouldn't know some of the amazing people I do now. I guess it's worth it, in a way.
I walk up to my room and fall down on my bed. My phone rings and I grab it off my bedside table, checking the caller ID. Ian? I thought he was visiting Jordan, what does he want?
I pick up my phone and answer Ian's call.
"Hey, what's up?"
"Get to the hospital now."
"Why? What happened? Is Jordan okay?"
"Just come."
"Ian, answer me, is Jordan-" the line goes dead as Ian hangs up. Great. I guess I'll have to go to the hospital and find out what's happening myself.
***Ian's point of view***
I look down at my phone, I hope Anika gets the importance of her coming to the hospital and comes soon. When the mysterious man who crashed the wedding noticed me, I ran. He didn't come after me which is strange.
I just finished talking to Amy and Elisabeth and they're coming also.
I pace the halls of the hospital, why am I so nervous? Isn't this what I wanted, for Jordan to wake up? Of course it is! But how will I explain to her what's happened. Well, pretty much everyone's a spy, Dru's dead, Amy's back, Lexi's in jail, you nearly died. Yeah, a whole lot happened while she was unconscious. I hear footsteps echoing against the hospital floor. I look up to see Amy, Elisabeth, Anika, and all the parents rushing towards me.
"What's going on?" Anika asks, out of breath.
"She's waking up." I say, smiling.
"Alright, you can all go in now." A nurse comes out and tells us.
We enter the hospital room all together. I rush to Jordan's side, holding her hand in mine.
A machine beeps and I look down at Jordan who lets out a little breath. She turns her head around so that she looks as though she is facing me.
"Jordan?" I say as a question.
She looks in my direction, although her eyes are still closed. She speaks, four simple words, "I love you too."
