Dru's point of view

I've always had trouble making friends.
Jamie and Lexi have been my only friends forever, I guess that made me a bit of a grouch to other people.
As I look down at Jordan lying on her hospital bed, I can't help but think I've made a couple new friends.
Lexi is defiantly no longer my friend.
I visited her in her holding cell an hour ago and made sure she knew that.
Even though, when I think about it, she's not much worse then I was.
I sigh and turn around to leave the room.
"Ian, your turn." I say. We can only allow one person in to see Jordan at a time. I don't know why we're allowed to see her at all, it's a little creepy, she's in a coma. Sort of. She can't use any of her senses. Although, the doctor says she may be able to hear us. I doubt that though.
I take a seat on one of the uncomfortable waiting room chairs.

I stare down at my feet. This is not good. My lawyer is talking with the judge but I try to block out the noise.
I twist my fingers together in my lap.
I jump as the judge bangs his mallet.
"The court has come to a conclusion."
I look up for the first time.
"Lexi will not be going to a long term jail."
I let out a sigh of relief.
"But," There's always a but.
"She will be attending a rehab centre and there will be a fine..."
I don't have any money.
"...of $100 000 000."
I swear I passed out.

Ian's point of view

I look down at Jordan. How did this happen? I sit down on the edge of her bed and look at her innocent face.
"Jordan?" The doctors said she might be able to hear me.
"I'm sorry about what happened to you. Seriously, I wish there was something I could have done." I put my hand over hers. "I'm here." I say. Hopefully she can hear me and knows that I'm here and I care. Her mom is going to come in and visit her next and I only have a bit of time. "So, how's your day going." I try to make a joke, knowing that if she were awake she would laugh.
"Mine's been okay. Got a crap headache though." I laugh at my own joke. I squeeze her hand.
"Jordan. I love you."
