The arena the competition is in is huge!
I nearly got lost a few times when I was walking through the halls with my team.
I carry my bag in my left hand and my phone in my right hand, up to my ear.
"Anyways, good luck." Ian says on the other end.
"Thanks. Bye." I hang up and put my phone in my pocket.
"Who was that?" Asks Lexi, walking up beside me.
"Why do you care." Lexi doesn't respond so I add, "Ian. His name is Ian."
"In all seriousness," she starts, "I'm really sorry. Dru said she was sorry and it made me realize how rude I was. I seriously owe you."
I look at her.
"For now, focus on the competition. Then we'll talk."
The dressing room for the competition is massive. Considering it's only my team. We quickly get ready then we enter the pool deck. There are thousands of people in the bleachers. I swear half of them are from television companies.
A woman whom I recognize as Jamie the television person comes up to me.
"Hey." I mumble. My last experience on her show wasn't too great.
She asks asking me a bunch of questions.
"Did Dru and you make up? Where is Dru now? Are you nervous for the competition."
Little did I know the judges were listening in and recognized me as the girl from the 'Dru case'.

Dru's point of view

I stare out my bedroom window, bored out of my mind. I should be swimming right now. Then I think, 'Jordan and Lexi are!'. I flip on the TV to the sports channel. The first thing that pops up is a picture of me. That's odd. I'm not even at that competition. Must be a recap or... Then Jordan's face pops up and I know excactly what's going on.

Jordan's point of view

My first lap is 1100m. My longest race first. I'm up against 3 people from my team and some others from other teams. I walk up to the pool and get ready to dive in when the buzzer rings.
But I won't get to swim this race.
The announcers voice starts speaking on the intercom, I assume about some car parking in the wrong spot or having its lights on. I was wrong.
"I would like to make an announcement before the competition begins. If a swimmer by the name of Jordan Lee could come up to the front desk to sign some papers of resignation. Due to past police records this competitor will be disqualified."

Comment ideas!
I'm thinking of making a second book when this one is done about the spy side of the story, so if you think that's a cool idea then comment!
