Jordan's point of view
----------------------------------------------
The day of my competition.
I woke up early this morning.
I packed my swim bag and rushed out the door and into my moms car.
She drove me to the arena where a bus will be picking up my team.
As I load my luggage onto the bus a voice calls my name from behind.
I turn around to face Dru.
"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with your team going to the competition?" I ask.
"I quit." She answers, staring at her feet. She looks up at me, "Good luck." She says, then walks away. She must feel really bad about everything that's happened.
I sigh and push the last bag into the bottom of the bus.
I grab my carry-on and climb the steps that lead into the bus.
Sitting at the front is Eileen and Peter. At the back is where all the team members sit.
But not me.
Because I know Lexi's talking about me and I don't want to hear it.
So I sit in the front with the coaches and read my book.
"Hey, Jordan, come sit with us!" I hear Lexi call.
Yeah, right.
"I'm okay, thanks though." I yell back.
I turn my head to stare out the window, the clouds and trees and cars roll past off to different destinations. We all take the same direction, but travel to many different places. I put in ear buds and turn up my music.

Dru's point of view
----------------------------------------------
I decide to wish Jordan good luck because of all the trouble I've put her through. I know everything that I've done is wrong and I regret it so much sometimes I can't fall asleep.
So, I wish her good luck then get my dad to drive over to Anika's and confess everything we've done. He might get a fine or arrested, but at least one thing he won't be is guilty. I apologized. Today was my day for apologizes. I apologized to Anika, Elisabeth and even Amy once I found her new address. Everyone and anyone I've hurt.
I take a trip to the news room for one last time and apologize to the man I threatened. I'm going crazy over apologizes. But at the end of the day at least I won't be going crazy from guilt.
My last trip I'm scared to do. I've wronged this person so many times and I am so close to them. Lexi. My friend from kindergarten Lexi. I threatened her. I knew a secret she didn't want out and I used that against her. I know she's headed to her competition so I call her. She picks up after the second ring.
"What do you want?" She asks harshly.
"I want something from you." I answer.
"Well obviously, but what?"
"Forgiveness."
There's a silence on the other end of the line.
"Alright. I suppose."
A smile creeps up onto my face. Finally I am free of the guilt. I may not be able to take back what I've done but at least I can fix up the damage a little.
