Y/N's pov:
I can't help but laugh while walking with this group of absolute weirdo's. Soos the idiot thought my name was Beauty because everyone kept calling me that. I have no idea why but at home I hear it as well too often. So often actually that it gets annoying. I have a name and want to be called by that.
I smile softly as the group arrives at our destination. A beautiful spot at the side of a lake, attached to it is a big waterfall. Called... Gravity Falls Waterfall. Really couldn't find something more creative huh? You've got so much crazy here and you come up with that name. Well maybe it's for the best trying to normalize the town a little. The four seem to be very mysterious whenever they're talking about 'what happened', and the townsfolk we've passed all have weird quirks and freak out whenever hearing about 'last summer'. Something I'll have to look into later when we arrive back at the Shack.
Mabel pulls out a giant picnic blanket she stitched together herself.... clearly- though it's rather cute and I almost feel bad for sitting on it. "WHO WANTS TO PLAY HIDE-AND-SEEK?!" The brunette cheers much to her male twin's annoyance.
Hm sounds like fun to be honest- and it's a great way to explore the ground around here a bit. "Sure why not?" I notice Dipper was about to say something but closes his mouth again. "Fine" he replies after a while.
"As long as I don't have to go looking for you all." Wendy shrugs seeming up for it.
"Same here dude. I always forget how long to count for. And on top of that you guys always find me as first. I want to win for a change!" "Don't worry Soos! Mabel will help you with that!" The self-pronounced Mabel claims happily.
"Are you alright with counting Dipper? I don't mind counting if you'd rather not-" The male gives me a soft smirk tilting his hat a little.
"Oh don't worry. You'll be found so fast you won't even realize the game is already over. I like a little challenge so you better all hide well!" I blush slightly at the younger male's statement. So self-assured and confident in his ability to find us all. I better hide better than anyone else if I want to make a good impression!
I rush off as soon as he starts to count and has his eyes closed. We never discussed how far we could go and I know the others will stay near the caves underneath the waterfall but I find it too obvious to hide there. Why not go to the top and try to find a spot there? I huff and puff (hehehe) standing at the top of the mountain next to the edge of the river before it turns into a waterfall. "Hey who are you?!" An angry voice shouts at me from behind and I quickly turn around to find the reason why the others rather not come here. A dark depressed teen stands there with a spray-paint can next to some mushroom on a building? What's it supposed to be anyways. OOOOOH! Depressed teenager! I'm so dumb!
"Ah sorry I'm playing hide and seek with some kids- nice explosion by the way. Very abstract art if I might add." I hope to get on his good side but he doesn't seem to have one as he pushes me a little. "Are you making fun of me?!"
"Wha-?! No- I just really like it! An-" I don't get to say much more as some stone crumble underneath me and the earth disappears. My eyes widen as I realize I'm falling into the river. That turns into a FUCKING WATERFALL! "MY PHOOOONE!"
The boy seems shocked too and tries to grab my hand. "SHI-"
