Y/N's POV:

My jaw drops when we step out of the limo. This place's cheapest item easily costs 100 dollars! And that's just a side, not even a main course! She must've noticed my discomfort because she took my hand and confidently started to walk in. "It's my treat, stop looking so worried. This all is nothing, I could buy a thousand identical restaurants with staff included." I just swallow my saliva and try not to stick out like a stick in the mud as I try to keep up. We sit down at a table for two as a butler serves us bio-apple juice and two menus. Oddly enough, mine has no prices but hers does even though she hides them from me. "Stop looking at them, I know they make you nervous which is why you got one without! You trying to look at my menu defeats the entire purpose!" I gulp and decide to look down at the menu again. Three items stand out to me. Waffles, pancakes, or avocado toast- what to pick? I end up choosing the pancakes as they have the most fruits listed with them as well as some strawberry jam on the side, sour cream, and maple syrup. "Would you mind shaaring my avocado toast for your pancakes?" I chuckle.

"Do you mean sharing?" "That's what I said-" I can't help but laugh softly. "Sure, I'll trade you half my pancakes for half your toast. To be honest I was choosing between the two of them anyway." The girl ducks her face behind her menu but I could have sworn I saw a little blush on her cheeks. "So you have taste. That's good." Before things could get awkward the butler takes our order and disappears with the menus, leaving Pacifica with nothing to hide her face with.

"Pacifica?" She looks up at me finally. "Why did you take me here? I mean- it's nice and all but I could've bought a sandwich or something at a grocery store but now I'm troubling you instead."

She looked more than pleased as I asked the question. "Because you're my friend. And someone told me the most generous thing a friend can give you is their time and support." She blushes slightly as she looks away. Was she about to say something embarrassing? "So you thinking about me and running all the way to my house even though you have other people to hang out with, really makes me happy." She quickly sips her juice trying to hide behind the glass. I'm a little bit speechless. "That's really deep-" My hand finds its way to a strand of my hair as I play with it. "I'm glad I get to spend more time with you too-" I didn't even realize more time had passed as we were talking until our food suddenly got presented.
