Dipper's POV:

It took me an entire night but I still haven't gotten any closer to solving this puzzle. I didn't even notice it was morning until my sister poked my cheek with a loud 'boop'. "Woah you look like a mess! Have you taken a shower yet? You should really look in the mirror! Your hair is an absolute mess!" I huff softly looking back at the text before putting it in my journal and heading to the bathroom. A hot shower may help me think clearly again. I sigh even deeper. I hadn't even noticed but an entire night behind my desk hurt my back. I can't imagine being old and having constant back issues. "Man I feel bad for grunkle Stan-" I dry off and get dressed, checking in the mirror how big the bags under my eyes are. Not too bad- though I'm guessing it'll look worse by the end of the day. Mabel was right- I looked ridiculous earlier! Mirror- MIRROR! Maybe that's why none of the words have made sense so far! Maybe if I try again changing the alphabet's letters and look in the mirror it'll fit! It'll just be a matter of how long until I place the letters in the right spots!

I run out to our room and jump onto my bed, slamming the door in the progress. Mabel lets out a yelp at the sudden noise. "Wow, what's got you in a knot?" "Not a knot! A knot-solution!" She mutters something but I'm too focused at the moment to hear what she says. It took me just 3 tries and this time when I try to read the words backwards I squealed in excitement. Mabel was instantly by my side. "What is it?! What does it say?!"

"It's written backwards! See?" I quickly write down the letters in the right order with the new alphabet, knowing my sister would take a long to read backwards.

.as a feather falls the balance shall shift ,one droplet of blood in a world full of dreams will make the tides shift and the sky shall fall into flames of hell ,destroying the earth underneath it with full forcE .beware the falling feather ,for it's placement off landing will change our fateS

"They even wrote the dots and capital letters where it'd make sense written backwards! Though the text doesn't really make much sense. I guess if a feather falls on a scale that's evenly balanced it can tip it over?" I look over at Mabel but her face for once does not hold a smile. "Actually... it does make sense..." The joy I felt ebbs away, making place for a dreadful feeling inside me. My hands grow cold and sweaty, my feet go cold too while I get a knot in my lower abdomen. I know I won't throw up, yet. But I feel like I might.
