As promised, my dress/suit arrived at noon. I waited until the evening to put it on because everyone kept on trying to peak at it. Again, what's the point in a masked ball if you already know what everyone's wear is? Which is why I convinced everyone to leave at different times. That way we for sure don't know what everyone looks like until we're at the party. I just can't wait to hang out with everyone! And of course, eat all the food.

I smile looking in the mirror and fix my hair now I put my mask on. Not bad-! I look at the time and sure enough, it's my time to leave. Mabel coming after my turn, and Dipper is already there. I start making my way to the mansion, some people in front of me already going through the doors. Woah- it looks even better than it did last time! How is that possible? It was rather easy to spot Dipper in a suit and a mask that kept falling off his face. I chuckle. Should I go help? Nah... that'll give the game away. I want to remain hidden the longest. I make my way to the snack table and try a bit of everything. It must be nice to be this rich! Wendy was easy to spot. In a sea-foam green dress with her hair up in a ponytail and a black and golden mask, she was hard to miss. Especially since her family entered with her. Her dad arguing with a security guy about his axe being a necessary attribute to complete his look. Pacifica was a bit harder to spot as her lavender dress and white mask suited the color theme of the party. And there came Mabel. In the most pink outfit I have ever seen. Her upper body was bedazzled, and the skirt was covered in bright pink feathers. Is that a glue-gun stuck to the bottom of her dress? Her pink glittery mask has fake eyelashes to- I'm actually not sure. One by one they all tagged Dipper and each other, Pacifica being the last one undiscovered. Or so they thought. I chuckle and slowly make my way to them in a big loop. If I go to them directly they'll surely instantly spot me. I slowly make my way behind Pacifica who is glowing in confidence she's the last one that no one found. Time to burst her bubble! I smirk and softly blow the back of her neck, causing her to slightly jump and turn around.
"Hello, Pacifica. You didn't forget about me did you?" Pacifica fumbled over her words while Mabel was loathing in the fact Pacifica didn't win our little game. "HA! That's my best friend!" I chuckle. "Mabel, Candy looks to be in a sweet-salty loop." Mabel gasps looking at the snack table and rushes off to help her friend. "Wendyyyyy I loooove youuuuu" Wendy looks like she's trying to hide from her school teacher in public, quickly hiding her face with one hand. "Oh no not again! I'll see you all around!" The ginger quickly runs into the crowd trying to lose a guy dressed in a black suit with red outlined roses on it.
Pacifica coughs. "I'm going around to greet more guests, Dipper? My parents would like to talk to you about the last time you came here?" Dipper tenses up and nods. "Sorry Y/N, I'll see you later though right?" I nod and off they go. Luckily none of them stayed away too long and soon we were all together dancing on the dancefloor. Loud bangs are heard from outside and we all stop dancing to look out the windows. Beautiful fireworks were going off and I swear I could have heard Pacifica's dad asking if they had ordered fireworks as he doesn't remember. It doesn't matter though. This night is perfect. I'm surrounded by my friends, food, drinks, fireworks, ... Nothing could ruin today. Suddenly I feel eyes burning on me, I try to look around to see where they came from and to my surprise, I see a very familiar blonde guy in black dress pants, a golden coat, and a white buttoned-up shirt, with a cute black bowtie and black mask to finish the look. Bill? He gives me a small bow and gestures outside before I hear churchbells faintly in the distance and he dusts up into nothingness. Midnight... I smile and look out the window. Thank you for the present Bill. It's perfect.
