A lost legend (Gravity Falls x reader)

Chapter 12

Something doesn't feel quite right as he smiles at me. But maybe I'm imagining it, after all he's an angel. Unless this is a test?

"What do you mean by that?"

The angel in yellow just smiles at me and though the smile had seemed so soothing and gentle earlier it seemed so cold and fake now. He slowly takes my hand pulling him closer while we're still in the air flying. He pulls me closer so our chests are almost pressing and holds my waist. Before I realize it we're dancing like royalty in the air. He continues to dance with me in the air, until the moon is right next to us, gently spinning me around. The sky around us changes into midnight with little fireflies flying around us like a thousand little stars. I can't help but smile. It's so beautiful up here! Bill's smile seemed to become warm and his eyes seem to soften as the male has probably read my mind. Maybe that's why he was upset earlier... . I can't help but smile even brighter, he was just upset at me thinking anything bad about him. After all he has been flirting a lot. I might be naive but I'm very sure my angel was flirting with me. Besides- he's kinda hot-.

"'Why thank you darling~ I didn't know you were into me too~"'

"Slow down there Romeo we just met."

"'Of course don't worry love, I'm an angle I have patience. I'll wait as long as you want me to."'

I close my eyes and slowly open my eyes again but this time I'm in bed. I feel a lot better. Maybe Bill has something to do with this- who knows? He's an angel after all, I'm not going to question him.

I slowly push myself up and head into the bathroom taking a well needed shower. I dry my hair with my towel and comb it. It's still a bit wet but not soaked anymore. I put on my clothes and a good thing I did because right as I walked out I almost ran over Dipper. 

"Sorry Dipper- I should've watched where I was going-"

'It's alright Y/N- oh hey you c-can talk again that's great! So umm how are you feeling?'

"Much better thank you- still a bit dizzy but I'm sure the day after tomorrow I'll be fully healed again."

'The day after to- you shouldn't be healing this fast-'

I can't help but raise an eyebrow. "You want me to be sick or something?"

The boy's eyes widen and he shakes his head no wildly. 

'Nonono! It's just- normally people who got as sick as you- well they're usually sick for atleast a week. It's just surprising how fast you're healing up- you're not an alien are you-?'

"Blip blap my cover has failed me abort mission!" I can't help but laugh before bursting out coughing at how hard I was laughing. "Don't worry Dipper, I just got a guardian angel." 

The male rolls his eyes. 'Yeah yeah- don't tell me you actually believe in that stuff-' 

"Why wouldn't I?" This makes him look at me in shock. "You've seen the weird things happen here in Gravity Falls- I have only seen one or two things but I know for sure I have a guardian angel. He's golden and also helped me not break my spine when I fell down the waterfall. He gave me a bit more oxygen when I ran out of it, just enough until you guys could get to me and pull me above the surface again. He healed me partly during my dreams and talks to me so I don't feel lonely in them."

'Hold on a second. In your dreams? Are you sure he's not... yellow and a triangle?'

He looks extremely suspicious at me. 'Has he offered you to make any deals?'

"Deals are only made with devils. No he hasn't. And yes he likes the color yellow but only because it reminds him of the sun and the stars. And I'm very sure he has a golden aura. It's what surrounded me when I didn't have oxygen anymore."

'Sorry didn't mean to offend you... what's his name?'

"It's-" My mouth opens and I want to tell him but, I honestly don't remember. I'm horrible with names and though 30 minutes ago I could've answered it with ease. I forgot during that time.

"I don't remember- Sorry Dipper- I'm just horrible with names- I can remember yours because my parents couldn't stop talking about you for years same with Mabel... but most people I take 3 weeks to remember their names and I usually remember either their faces, their smell or their outfit the best..."

'It's alright... come on let's go get breakfast. Do you like pancakes?'

"Who doesn't?"

As I follow him down I look to my left where the window is, a yellow triangle reminding me my guardian angel is always watching over me. Did it just- wink at me?
