Pacifica's pov:

While my old friends haven't ditched me as we're still rich, obviously. Something has changed since the entire weird yellow clown demon tried to kill us all and I had been forced into a lama sweater. Which... I may still have secretly hidden in my closet. It brings me back to the time I made change in my family and the world. I mean, of course the world would still bow to my will! I'm a Northwest! No one ridicules a Northwest! I've just been feeling kind of- lonely... .

Out of the corner of my eye I see a beautiful new stranger with an amazing sense of fashion. But she's surrounded by Pines... Of course she would b- is she about to cry? Oh hell no! I rush over as I see they're trying to force her to give up the necklace she's wearing.

"Stealing from the poor because you can't buy shit yourselves now?" I smirk at them as they look at me. Shrugging off the snares they give me as I come closer and look at the necklace in her hand. Oh shit- isn't that the-? I look up at her and I can see the teary eyes just being more scared of my reaction. I quickly suck it up and grab her outstretched hand, dragging her with me to a store. "Come with me, I'll get you something prettier don't you worry. A Northwest won't back off from a challenge." The necklace that was in between our hands is now in my other hand that I quickly toss towards Dipper's direction as I push her inside. Closing the shop's door behind us I give him a soft nod as he picks it up from the ground and looks at me.

"U-um excuse me? I know you're trying to be nice and all but-" I look back at the teenager I just dragged with me and quickly turn away again to look at some jewelry. "Let me guess, you're poor."

Looking in the reflection of the glass I can see her stammer. It's kind of cute- wait no! Stop thinking that! "I wouldn't say poor, but I'm definitely not rich. I come from an average working family." I softly hum in dismissal. While it's still hard to understand how people don't just stop being poor I am starting to understand it's not always as easy. It's good to know however even peasants- I mean lower class people are trying to work their way up. "I did say that I'd buy you something didn't I? Don't worry about the prices, just tell me what you think is pretty and what you don't." The absolute shock in her face is even better. "I couldn't possibly- I'm not sure why you'd even offer that-" I softly sigh as she slowly makes her way next to me and stops right when she is. "I guess I just wanted some company. I've been changing a lot of my old ways and views the past year and sometimes my friends don't even care or understand when I try to do something a different way. It's just been so...."

"Lonely?" "Yeah- How did you know?" I softly smile at her as we both lean onto the glass as if it were a counter, her head resting on her arms as she looks at me. "Because I know how you feel... I grew up in a big city. Most of the time people don't care and just pass you by as if you're a speck of dirt on the ground they're trying to avoid. Even my parents don't show up that often, they're always working and the only time they ever showed up for me was when I was in the hospital. They never came home early, not even for my birthday. Don't get me wrong, if they missed it they'd send a present. It... it would just have been nice to for once have been the most important thing for them, you know?" I don't think I could ever have understand anyone better than this kid right next to me. I softly hum in acknowledgement before pointing at a necklace. "Do you like this one? It's a bit too much with all the colors isn't it?" She looks at me surprised and burst out into laughter. I smile as the mood has been lifted and we start to look at more necklaces. After half an hour we're standing outside the shop, with both of us holding a little bag in our hand and inside a necklace.

"Your friends are waiting on you I see, next time I'm taking you shopping at the mall ok?" I give her a charming wink and leave. Hearing the beautiful h/c girl yelling a thank you behind me as I get into my carriage. It's pioneers day after all.
