Chapter 7

Y/N:

I slowly open my eyes and softly groan. Wait- 

I sit up and look around. Why is everything so dark? It's like the lake all over again- Am I dying?

I gasp as I notice a warm yellow glow creeps it's way up from behind. I turn around to look at the angel i know saved me earlier. To my surprise the angel is not a baby but a handsome man with a white eyepatch, dressed in a rather serious suit with a small black bow tie and a small top hat. It looks adorable.

"Why thank you darling~" Heh? I blink. Even his voice is warm and gentle- dear angel have you come to take me to heaven?

"Well I'm flattered you think of me like that, but no I'm not an angel who comes to take you to heaven." Oh- wait did he just-?

"Yes I can read minds. How else do you think angels and demons know how to place one in the right dimension?"

I slowly nod. He said he's not to take me to heaven. Then- "Did you come to take me to hell? I knew I shouldn't have eaten that much ice cream behind mom's back!"

"Wha-? No no no no! No darling! I'm here to... well you could say I'm your guardian angel! Just don't tell anyone about me or they'll think you've gone crazy!"

Right- that makes sense. Who wouldn't think I've gone crazy after flying off a waterfall, crashing into a lake, barely surviving it and then telling them I met an angel. They'd take me straight to the loony-house! 

"If you don't mind me asking- if you're not here to take me to the afterlife... then why are you here?" Though I wouldn't mind you staying here forever... .

"I can still read your mind darling~ you're quite the sight yourself! Well Y/N I'm here to check on you. You took quite the swan dive into that lake and I'm afraid as long as I haven't made any deals with anyone I can't take much of a physical form. At the lake you were so weak I could connect with your aura and slightly warm you while providing you with a little bit of oxygen. It took a lot of my power but at least you're here safe and sound. Well- umm safe at least."

"Wait what's that supposed to mean?!"

"You umm have a high fever and will be bedridden for at least three days. They're all quite worried about you. I should probably let you go now and let you wake up."

I gasp as his warm light starts leaving me.

"WAIT! W-will we meet again?"

The man smiles at me. "Of course we will. I'm your guardian angel. I'll be around you 24/7 watching you. And I'll be here waiting for you in your dreams. Now wake up Y/N."

I accidentally blinked and when my eyes open again I realize I actually opened my eyes this time, all Pines around me worried while Ford is scolding the kids. 

Was it really just a dream or was there more?
