3rd person pov:

Morning came too soon for Y/N as the girl rubbed her eyes and wonders when she got back to bed. She quickly got dressed and rushes downstairs realizing it's already 11am. To her surprise everyone was happily chatting and the heavy air that was there yesterday no longer was suppressing her. It seemed like a good night's sleep had done everyone some good. She sat down at the table as grunkle Stan flipped some pancakes onto her plate as apparently everyone has slept in so everyone was getting brunch. As she puts some syrup on her pancakes and looks at what Dipper is proudly explaining to everyone to be the best course of action, the room falls silent when a barrier is mentioned for every house.

"Sorry, but is gathering the materials that hard for the barriers? Is it like, an extinct species of plant we have to find or something?" The girl looks confused as she puts a piece of her brunch into her mouth, almost choking on it as Mabel stabs hers aggressively. "Unicorn hair" The h/c was more than surprised. "Unicorns exist?" "Do they exist?! HA! THEY'RE MENACES!" "Come on it can't be that bad can it?" To Y/N's surprise everyone seemed to side with Mabel. "Then how about I'll go get the hair?" The room goes quiet again for a minute until Mabel speaks up again. "Are you sure?" The girl gives a grin. "Yeah of course! Who'd say no to seeing a unicorn in real life?!"

And so an hour later she's on her way with Wendy and Mabel who both refused to let her do it on her own. It just took them an hour to get there but to Y/N it was absolutely worth making the trip. The beauty of the gates alone was enough to make her want to leave. As any polite person Bill's favorite toy heads up to the giant gates to knock on them. But before she can do someone screams at her to get away. Surprised she sees the door open up in front of her and a beautiful unicorn stands in front of her. Entirely white with a golden mane and a silver horn. "S-sorry we didn't mean to bother you. I was just wondering if we could borrow some hair to protect our friends- and-" The unicorn cuts her off glaring at the two girls standing behind her cracking their knuckles ready for a fight. "Of all people why would you bring the doom slayer of the earth here?" Y/N's eye widened at that. A doom-slayer? Before her friends can bud in she holds out her arm stopping them from attacking the beautiful creature in front of her. "Am I impure of heart?" The unicorn just snares at her. "It's got nothing to do with that you filthy child. You're his feather. You're the stench that'll cause the earth to be covered in blood and foul chaos!" She took a step back as the unicorn basically growled at her. "Don't talk to my friend like that!" "I shall say whatever I want about this impudence. You two are allowed to come in to get the hair that you require if that gets this filth to leave from this place as soon as it possibly can. Do take off your shoes before coming in." The unicorn turns away and all three of them are at a loss for words. Silently they all start to take their shoes off but the being stops Y/N. "Not you. Just the other two are allowed in. When the world is ending I don't want to be held responsible for aiding you." Wendy this time got even more offended than Mabel. "How dare you talk to her like that?! If this is about last summer the-" "Foolish child. It has nothing to do with the past. It's what she's going to do. Also last summer is why we're allowing you to get the hair without causing more accidents. About 9 of our highest security uniguards are still in therapy!" Mabel is about to speak up but Y/N places a hand on her shoulder. "It's fine. You guys go ahead. My pride has nothing to do with this quest. If we fail everyone will be in danger. I'll wait over there in the shade for you two ok?" "Y/N-" Wendy puts her hand on Mabel's back and gently pushes her in as the gates close behind them. While Y/N sits in the shade watching the clouds and whatever not to keep herself entertained the duo of girl power follow the silver horned creature to apparently a unicorn salon. The staff gathers the unicorn hair they were going to get disposed of anyway into a big bag while the two girls start striking up a conversation with the creature that opened the gates for them. Hoping to get more answers out of him.

"I know you two want to believe in your friend. She doesn't seem to want to cause any harm. But a feather can't control where it falls, that's the wind and the gravity as well as the obstacles that direct it's place of landing. And as the prophecy forgoes, it seems like she's fallen on the wrong side." The two girls look extremely worried now. "What prophecy?" The unicorn glares at them "if you want to know then don't interrupt me you impatient children!". He coughs trying to regain his posture. "To be honest that information is not something we're free to give away. If you want those answers you'll have to seek a creature as old as time itself. Now. Here's your bag of hair, get out and we hope to never see you again!" And with that the two were thrown out of the gates with a big bag filled to the brim with colorful glowing hair. As the girls head back to Y/N they notice she's muttering to herself. Mabel happily screams from the other side of the open field they gathered the hair. Y/N's head shoots up, now being visible to both of them and she smiles, slowly getting up as if she were about to faint if she got up too fast, using her hand as a support when getting up. She happily runs over to them and is in aw as she looks at all of the hair. "We could make so many wigs out of this that'd sell for hundreds online each!" The three laugh as they start to make their way back home. Not seeing a slight red burn mark on the place where she had placed her hand to push herself up, the grass dying underneath that tiny spot.

Bill was angry.
