Y/N's pov:
I slowly open my eyes groaning as i have a giant headache close to a migraine but not quite. My ears are ringing as a loud ass person decides to yell I'm awake. Once I get used to the blinding light that's actually probably not that bright as the blinds are down, I slowly look around and realize no one is yelling but they're all whispering. But why does it sound so loud? Uch!
I can't take it and weakly cover my ears. Shut up- please- someone make them stop- it hurts so bad-. I hear a few loud shushes and I suddenly realize it's quiet now except the ringing in my ears. Now I can focus on other things than pain I kind of feel dizzy while trying to sit up so I stay down. It's kind of hot- no cold- I'm not sure... Both- Oh God I've caught a cold haven't I?
I look around slowly starting to comprehend where I am. I wonder... .
I start to give them some hand movements, weak but the signal is strong as I'm doing sign language. To my surprise Dipper and Ford instantly reply and I smile as they write down my question for the others. Everyone's jaw drops when grunkle Stan also replies though a little later than the other two, seemingly having been thinking on what to reply to me. He wasn't thinking about the movements as he clearly was signing as if it was his second nature. He's surprisingly a natural one. One would never guess he's able to do it but he's way better than anyone I've ever seen communicating like this.
After getting over the shock I concentrate on what he said and I smile softly nodding realizing now he said it, he's right.
"I feel like crap, why is gravity so heavy?"
dipper's reply "It's still 9,81 m/s"
ford's reply "You've got a cold so it's only natural you'll feel that way"
stan's reply "Would you like some tea? It should help with your throat that you probably didn't realize looks swollen."
The boy's stare at him in shock and write down showing the other's what Stan had just offered me as the said man leaves the room. Once Soos, Mabel and Wendy read what he had suggested their jaw drops and they run after Stan. I hear them mutter in the background. Probably low talking but I'm grateful I can't hear it. Slowly my mind drifts of to my dream. I have a guardian angel... I'm so lucky. I smile softly at the two boy's left in my room signing me comforting things.
Mom, dad? When I find the time to write you both I'll be able to tell you I'm fine and for the first time I fit in. Thank you ex-best-friend for teaching me sign-language. Your deaf ass might've betrayed me but your existence has helped me today. Yes. I will be just fine mom and dad. Maybe if I turn to like it enough... I might consider asking if I can stay here forever and you guys can come visit every so often. You're often on business trips anyways. And I have friends over here now.
I think I'm going to like it here.
