Chapter 5
Barry's pov
I walk onto shore and act like nothing happened. "So, Eddie why are you back so soon, and without Iris?" I ask trying to be cool.

He look as if he has seen the best thing ever and it happened to be totally different. "Oh-um I left my wallet here," he said trying to keep a distance.

"Oh okay. Bye then," I say as he is leaving and I run over to Joe and Dr. Wells.

"What's wrong?" Joe ask concerned.

"I think Eddie might of just saw me run... on water," I say while trying to make him less mad at me.

"Well go run after him before he tells Iris," Dr. Wells shouts knowing how important it is to Joe that she does not know.

I run as fast I can in normal speed so not to attract to much attention, but when I finally catch up to him Iris can see us. "Hey Eddie, do you think I can walk with you two?"

"Oh, sure Bar," he says catching on to what I am doing and knowing that Iris already sees me.

Iris POV

I am kinda glad that Barry decided to come with us. I know that it was suppose to be a romantic walk, but he always adds something amazing to each conversation he is in. I mean Eddie is awesome, sweet ,and adventurous, but conversation seem to always be different than the ones with Bear.

"So, Barry why did you decide to join us," I joke walking up to him.

"Oh-um," I splashed him before he could finish his excuse. It took him a second to realize what happened but once he did, he decided to splash Eddie and me, and all of us went into a full out water fight right there on the beach. As it was happening I couldn't help but to think Barry was truly something amazing.

Iris P.O.V.

Once we all got back to the group we were so soaked that we left a trail of wet sand behind us.

"So what took you all so long," Catlin joked.

"Oh you know just having fun, I said with a huge smile that covered my face. "So, what have you all been doing?"

"We are helping Dr. Wells build a sand castle," answered Catlin sounding as if all she wants is to help everyone else, no wonder Barry has a crush on her.

"Fun!" Barry said sitting down. "Can we help?" Then Catlin started putting us to work getting all of the wet sand and Dr. Wells whispered something to the group that made them all laugh I wonder what they do all day in Star Labs?

Barry's P.O.V.

"You know if they knew, or were not here then this would be the perfect exercise to learn about your speed," Wells joked.

I look out at Iris and Eddie, her skin is glowing in the sunset as the waves are sparkling behind her, and at this moment I would do anything to just stand by her and not have any secrets or lies (boyfriends) keeping us apart.

"C'mon Barry I know that the scarlet speedster can dig a trench around the castle faster than that," Cisco says right before I throw a handful of sand into his face.
