Barry's P.O.V.

Oh no, I forgot to get up at the time I would of before the lightning. I look outside the door, and Iris is not there whew. It would have been horrible a scene if she would have heard my alarm just go off, I worry.

I zoom through all the I have to do in the morning, and run the longer way to work making sure that Iris got there in one piece; I usually do it every day. Today she is wearing that dress that she wanted so bad for her seventeenth birthday, that she kept on hinting to me every ten seconds, so I saved up all of my money from working at the movie theater (that I did not spend on comics), and bought her the dress.

I enter work smiling and head over to where Joe is talking with Eddie.

"Hey, you two," I say way to happy. "So, what are you guys working on?"

"Just another bank robbery," Eddie says and then motioning to Joe that he needs to leave.

"Okay, I think you are right Barry. Eddie definitely saw you running on the beach," Joe said.

"Eddie can you come up to Barry's office with me, he just texted me that he might have some new evidence on who the robber was." Joe lied.

"Okay, let me just shut down my computer, and I will be right up," stuttered Eddie, acting as if he was going to see the devil.

"So, why am I up here, Joe", Eddie said trying to step over the million piles of paper scattered on the floor from my running everyday (I really need some paper weights)

Right after that I ran in with my flash suit on. "I heard that you saw me running last night," I said without vibrating my voice, and I took off my hood.

Eddie stumbled back into the chair, "So, Barry is the flash. Wait does Iris know?" Eddie asked amazed (with a little drool coming towards the front of his mouth from him gawking).

"No, and she will not know for a while," Joe said. "That is acutely why we brought you up here. We knew you saw him running on water."

"Wait that was you," Eddie said before Joe could finish.

"And also so that you might get Iris to stop writing her blog," I said finishing for Joe.

"I don't know how long I can keep this secret from her, we never lied or kept stuff between us like this," Eddie said like a little puppy wanting a toy.

Thinking, I mean how long he thinks he will have to keep this from her. By the statistics that I took of them getting married and her not finding out about my powers in the new future, they are as close to none, that it will happen. Also for my entertainment I would quite like to see how they hold up under such intense pressure. That probably makes me a terrible person.

"Well, I have to run off," I said trying to lighten the mood and acting like I was going to run out right there, but as nice as that would have been someone at the police station probably would have had noticed the Flash speeding out my office.

Since, it was after work, I was already tired, but I always go to STAR Labs after work, mainly because of the free food, it is making my wallet a dry dessert eating so much.

"So, Barry let's see about that endurance, because according to Cisco you were huffing by the end of your guy's run," Dr. Wells said taking away my burrito.

I ran at 300 miles an hour for about ten minutes before a call came in, it was Iris.

'Hey Bear; I was wondering, wait why are you breathing so hard? Never mind, so I know that you are coming to Easter dinner on Sunday , but since I am bringing Eddie, I was wondering if you wanted to bring your STAR Labs friends since you know since you are probably there right now," Iris said in her usual upbeat tone.

"So do you guys want to come to Easter dinner at the West house?"

"It was an anymous yes," I answered. " We'll see you tomorrow.

"That is so great Bear, just don't forget to bring your famous bunny ears you wear every year," she hung up laughing, probably knowing that there was no way out of me wearing them.
