ROSS POV
rachel falls asleep and i drive her home. i dont know if laura is home or not. i dont know why she would be. i glance at rachel fast asleep then i drive to carlys house. i have to know the truth
"carly?"she opens the door
"ross"she is wearing sweats and a messy bun
"i need to know the truth. do i really have a son?"she was about to answer then a tatooed guy walks up to us holding a little boy in his hands
"whos this babe?"he says in a low voice
"ill be right back"she pushes me out of the house and closes the door
"who is that?"i ask her
"that is my boyfriend. the boy is my son"she looks me in the eye and i can tell she telling the truth. i let out a big sigh of relief
"so i dont have a son?"she shakes her head. i cant help but smile
"thank you"i hug her then walk down the stairs
"wait ross?"i stop. she runs down the stairs and stands in front of me
"if that was your son what would you do?"she puts her hand on my chest. i grab it and pull it off
"i would cry because i missed my wedding and laura thinks i had a kid with you"she smiles then we say our goodbyes. i drive rachel home
LAURA POV
i sit on the edge of the feild and look at the mountains. the sun is just going down and is peeking over the tips of the mountains. i smile and breathe in the fresh air. im not mad anymore. im not sad. im not disapointed. i look to my side and see no one sitting next to me. all i feel is lonley. i rub my stomach
ROSS POV
i walk in the house and put rachel to bed. then i walk in my room. i see lauras wedding dress on the bed and her phone on the night stand. i go downstairs and watch TV hoping she will come home
LAURA POV
i look down and see my wedding ring still on my finger. if it was 4 years ago, this ring wouldnt be here. its funny how a ring can resemble so much. i play with it in my hands and smile
"So for a while now ive been thinking about us. I want our relationship to go further and the only way to do that is to make sure we love eachother forever. So, laura Marano, will you marry me?"
i stand up and start walking down. i walk passed the hill all the way home. i open the door and see ross laying on the couch sleeping with the TV on. i quietly walk inside and pull a blanket over him. then i turn off the TV, kiss his cheek, and walk upstairs to go to sleep
ROSS POV
i wake up to rachel jumping on me
"hey rach"i groan and sit up. rachel moves so she is sitting on my lap
"is mommy here?"rachel asks me and all i can do is shake my head. then we hear footsteps coming down. we both turn our heads around and see laura walking down the stairs
"laura"rachel jumps off me lap and i stand up
"hey ross"she yawns and walks into the kitchen. both rachel and i follow her
"you guys want breakfast?"laura pulls out bacon and some juice. she sets them on the table and looks at me
"sure"rachel sits on the chair and i walk towards laura. at first a little scared of what she might do but then she gives me a hug
"i dont want to loose you"she whispers. i slightly wrap my arms around her body and we stay there for a while. then rachel looks at us. laura lets go of me and hands rachel her food
"almost time for school hurry up"laura gestures for me to go upstairs. i go into rachels room and pick out some clothes for her to wear and set them on her bed
"daddy i have to get dressed"i turn around and leave rachels room. she closes the door and i walk back downstairs
"laura"i look at her and she smiles
"hey"she sighs
"you ok?"i ask her and she looks at me confused
"why arent you mad?"i ask. she looks down then i see a smile appear on her face
"i love you. thats why i came back. sure some part of me is still furious with you but love is the strongest thing in nature"
