LAURA POV

"wait are you?"rydel asks and i smile while nodding

"aww congradulations. does ross know?"savannah asks and i shake my head

"no but i have a whole speech worked out. hes going to be so happy"i twitch in excitment then all the boys walk up

"hey"ross sits next to me

"um so laura when is your due date?"savannah asks. i stare at her in shock

"wait due date for what?"ross asks looking at me

"can we talk?"we climb off the bleachers and walk by the car

"ok so i was going to tell you something but i guess i will now"i look at him and smile

"im pregnant"i blurt out. at first he looks shocked then he gives me a hug

RIKER POV

"wow rachel might be an even bigger fan than me"i say out loud. i see rydel stare at her while hugging ratliff. then vanessa giggles. ross and laura soon come back

"your daughter is one dedicated fan"we all stare at rachel. she is waving the sign above her head screaming

"yeah she wanted to make a sign so why not"laura says while giving ross a side hug. then we all watch the game. nicole kicks the ball away from the other team and brittany catches it. they kick it back and forth then jordan makes a goal. we all scream. everyone except savannah. now its halftime. nicole walks up to rachel and gives her a big hug. then she goes back. the game starts again. madison another girl on the team kicks it to jordan but misses so the other team grabs it. when there are 20 seconds left, the score is tied. nicole runs behind the girl with the ball and dives under kicking it away from her. brittany catches it and kicks it to jordan. she runs to the goal and kicks it to nicole who kicks it and makes it in. the buzzer goes off and we all scream. she made the winner goal at her first soccer game. everyone on her team lifts her up. rachel runs onto the feild and we follow her. nicole runs and hugs rachel

"congrats"ryland hugs her. then she hugs vanessa and i

"ok come on we have a suprise for you"i pick her up and we walk to the car. everyone leaves first so they can get ready

ROSS POV

"we get to rikers house just before the soccer parents come. laura and i let them in. then riker shuts his car door. We all hide as they walk in. Vanessa opens the door and we all jump up
"Suprise!"everyone yells. Nicole looks shocked. Brittany and Jordan hug her then we party
LAURA POV
I look at the clock and it is 6:30. I stand in the kitchen thinking. Then Savannah walks in
"Ugh"she huffs
"I'm sorry do you have a problem?"i snap at her
"Yes I do actually. Your not supposed to be pregnant"she turns around
"Excuse me?"I ask offended
"You are the perfect person. You succeeded in high school and now in life. You are supposed to be in Connecticut. If you stayed in Yale none of this would happen"she starts yelling
"Ross loves me"I spit out
"Not everything is about you! Because of you my best friend is so confused about what to do. If you would have just stayed in Connecticut, this would be Carly's life. She would be the one pregnant with ross kid. So do everyone a favor and leave"she keeps yelling
"Look I'm sorry about Carly but I'm not leaving ross. We love eachother"I rub my stomach
"Really? So how was your wedding? Or was he to busy telling Carly that he didn't love rachel? Or how about when he-"I cut her off
"Stop. You think my life is perfect? No it's not. Your right ross did cheat on me multiple times. The only family member that still loves me is vanessa. I can't stop thinking about how I let my parents down. And every day I think about running away but I don't because I love ross and I know that me running away would hurt him just as much as me"I blurt everything out
"Or he would turn to Carly for support. Face it laura. Even if you leave ross will always have Carly"then she walks away. I look in the living room and see ross talking with rydel and her friends. The rachel walks up to me
"Hi mommy"she rubs her eyes
"Aw you tired?"I pick her up and she nods and yawns
"Why don't you go tell daddy that you want to leave"I put her on the floor then she walks over to ross. He picks her up then he looks at me. I break our stare and see Vanessa walk into the kitchen
"So I think we're going to take off. We have work tomarrow"I lean over the counter. She takes a big sigh
"Ok"she wipes her face the gives me a hug
"You ok ness?"I ask in the hug
"Just to pregnant"we pull away
"Why don you go lay down. You don't want to stress out the baby"she slowly nods. I walk into the living room and find riker
"Hey ross and I were going to leave now. Vanessa went upstairs to rest she was looking a little dizzy"I pat his back
"Ok thanks goodnight"I smile then walk to ross
"All right lets go"he carries rachel out to the car then we drive home. When we get home, he takes rachel upstairs and puts her to bed. I go into the kitchen and grab ice cream not bothering to grab a bowl. I take it and a spoon and sit on the couch. Ross walks down
"Hey"he sits next to me. I glance at him the focus on my ice cream. He slides my shoes off, grabs a blanket, and wraps it around me. I give him a weak smile
"Ross? What would you have done if I finished at Yale?"I play with my spoon not looking at him
"I would still be living with my mom"I glare at him
"I'm serious"he pulls me closer to him and rubs my arm. I eat my ice cream
"I really don't know. Why are you asking?"he looks down at me
"Just wondering"I lie. He stands up and leaves the room. A few seconds later he comes back with papers and a pen. He sits back down next to me
"You have to sign this. It's our marrige papers"he hands me the pen and lays the papers on the table. It's weird how one signature can change everything. All the drama from the past won't matter anymore. But if I sign this then I will always regret it. Betraying my family. Education. Friends. All for ross. I look at him then slowly I sign each paper
