Hey guys my name is vanessa marano but you can call me ness. I live in the great state of Wyoming with my little sister laura and my parents. I love my life. We live on a ranch near the Rocky Mountains. Laura is obsessed with horses so I am teaching her how to ride so soon we will be able to ride to the top of the mountain. We are really close. She is literally my best friend in the whole wide world we tell each other everything. Laura and I have to help my dad with the horses a lot but we also have two assistants. Their names are brad and Charlie. They are kind of cute but I'm not interested in boys. I've actually never had a boyfriend neither has laura

"Ness can we go now?"laura pulls me to the barn

"Ok ok I'm coming"we run to the barn and she opens it revealing all of our beautiful horses

"Oh I want to ride Yankee"she runs to the horse like a little kid. I just roll my eyes and go to her. I take Yankee out of her stall and put the head piece and saddle on her. Then I walk to my horse who's name is dusty. I gear her up then we walk back to laura and Yankee

"All right laura are you ready?"I hold her shoulder and she nods. I help her up onto the saddle because she is so short. Once she is on I grab hold of Yankees rope and jump onto dusty

"All right lets go"I ride dusty pulling Yankee behind us. We walk towards the mountains. We go up a hill all the way to the top the stop. I get off of dusty and laura jumps off Yankee. We stare out and admire the beautiful scenery among us

"It's so beautiful up here"laura says

"Yeah it really is"I smile and look at laura. She has her eyes closed and the sun is shining on her hair

"I can't wait until we can actually ride so we can go further up"I confess

She opens her eyes and looks at me

"Haha very funny. You know I don't think I will ever understand people who always work and have a cell phone in their hands all the time. I just think that would be miserable"she says

"Yeah I don't get it either but they survive"I then jump on my horse

"Come on dinner should be ready soon"I hold out my hand. She grabs it and climbs on Yankee. I grab the rope and we walk back to the house

"Mm mm smells good mom"I say once I walk in the door

"Watch out this is all mine"she jokes around

"Oh really?"laura says. I run up to her and grab her waist while laura grabs a little spoonful

"Ahhhhhh"my mom laughs hysterically. I take my hands away and take the spoon from laura to taste. As I lick the spoon, my mom slaps me with the towel and laura. We all sit at the table and my dad walks in

"Hey honey"my mom says

"Hey guys"he says. He puts his hat on the hook then takes his seat at the table

"Hey daddy"laura says

"Hey dad I took laura and Yankee out today up to the mountains"I say to him as I grab some food and put it on my plate

"Really? And she didn't fall off?"we all laugh

"Ugh!"she picks up a dinner roll and throws it at dad. Man I love this family
