"I'm sorry laura"Mackenzie rubs my back
"Um can I go to bed it's getting late"Demi nods then I grab a pillow and lay down. Everyone else gets comfortable then Demi turns off the light. I lay there and stare at the darkness. I could feel tears rolling down my cheek. I'm not mad I'm just disappointed. But it also doesn't mean that he's a bad guy. It was a long time ago
ROSS POV
I walk back downstairs
"Hey buddy what's up?"my mom says as I slump into a seat on the island
"What's wrong?"she asks sitting next to me
"Laura hates me because she found out about my arrest"she looks down
"I'm sorry ross but she's coming home tomarrow so why don't you talk to her then"I nod then she kisses my cheek. I weakly smile then walk upstairs and go to bed
LAURA POV
"Laura wake up"Demi shakes me awake and I flutter my eyes open
"Oh morning"I sit up and rub my eyes
"So, nows the time to go home and talk to ross"I roll my eyes
"Let's go"they drag me to the car and Demi drives to the lynch house
"No I don't want to see him"I confess
"To late were here"Demi stops the car
"Get out"she demands and I roll my eyes then get out. Once I close the door they drive away. I sigh before knocking on the door
"Oh hey laura"I smile then she lets me in
"Ross is upstairs do you want me to get him?"she closes the door
"No I will I have to put my stuff away"she nods then I walk to my old room. I start putting my things away when rydel walks in
"Yay girl"I smile
"Hey delly"I say and she hugs me
"So how's the baby?"I rub my stomach
"Actually babies and they are fine. Fraternal twins"she starts fangirling
"Can I finish packing?"she nods then helps me
"You know your baby bump is kind of growing"she comments
"Yeah I guess it is"I smile and keep unpacking. Then someone knocks on the door. We both turn around and see ross leaning up against the door frame
"I think I'm going to go help mom"rydel awkwardly walks out and ross walks in closing the door
"Can we talk?"he asks and I turn back around
"There's nothing to talk about"I say not looking at him
"I think there is. Your not even looking at me"I slowly turn around
"Did you decide about the proposal?"he asks and I look at him
"No. I told you in three months"he sits down
"I can't wait that long"he falls on my bed staring at the celing
"Well I guess you have to. And about jail?"I sit next to him and he looks at me
"I'm really sorry laura but it was a long time ago"I nod
"I know which is why I am going to forgive you"he smiles and sits up
"Are you serious?"he smiles and I smash my lips onto his. He is surprised at first but then he starts kissing back
"Let's go downstairs I'm hungry"he nods then we walk downstairs hand in hand
"Hey lovebirds hungry?"I sit down and ross sits next to me
"Here Mac and cheese for you"stormie slides a plate in front of my face and I start eating
"Where's everybody?"stormie rolls her eyes
"They went swimming outside"I nod
"I'll be back babe"ross kisses my cheek then goes outside by the others. I roll my eyes and finish eating
ROSS POV
"Yay ross is here let's have a flip contest"I run up to them and take my shirt off. Then I jump off the diving board into the pool
"Where's laura?"rydel asks me
"Inside eating"she gets out and dries off. Then she goes inside
"Let's start"I get out and wait in line to jump. First it's riker
"Dude that was good"Rocky yells
"Sweet"ryland yells
RYDEL POV
"Hey girls"I walk in the kitchen and see my mom and laura
"Hey delly"my mom kisses my cheek
"So laura I have to ask you something"I sit down next to her
"Should I leave?"my mom asks and I shake my head no then look back at laura
"Is it true that ross proposed?both her and my moms eyes go wide. Then all eyes land on laura
"Fine, yes it's true"she looks down
"But your not wearing a ring"my mom comments
"I'm not wearing the ring because I told him we should wait. I'm still in school for another 3 months and he has the business so in 3 months I will decide"she stands up
"Wait so you are just going to leave him for 3 months? The babies are going to be here in 8 months so unless you can plan a wedding in 5 months your screwed"she turns back around and looks at me and my mom
"I think dellys right. It's now or never you can plan the wedding later but it's going to take forever to plan it"she nods then goes outside
LAURA POV
I'm going to do it. Im going to tell ross that my answer is yes. I walk outside to see all the boys jumping off the diving board
"Ross?"I say but he doesn't look at me. He must have not heard me
"Ross?"I say a little louder but he still can't hear me. I was about to yell when someone rammed into my back and I fell into the pool. I came to the surface and everyone looked at me
"Laura!"ross swims over to me but I get out before he can save me
"Did you want something?"he says to me still in the pool. I look back and see everyone trying not to laugh. Then I look back at ross
"No just wanted to make sure you were ok"I turn around and silently cry walking into the house
"Omg laura how many times am I going to have to dry your body and tears?"stormie walks over with a towel
"I'm sorry. I'm going to shower"I walk upstairs still crying. I go into my room and slam the door shut. I slam the towel on the floor then grab my pjs. I check my phone and see I got a missed call from Demi and an email from ross. I open the email first
Dear laura,
The fact is that forget about the proposal. I didn't really mean it. We're to young anyway. Oh and stay away from Rocky. He has a huge crush on you

I scream then throw my phone. Rydel opens my door
"Why are you screaming?"she asks and I run over to close the door. She opens her arms and we hug. I cry in her arms
"Ross......doesn't want to marry me"I cry and she hugs me tighter
"It's ok laura he will eventually"I wipe my tears and get out of her grip
"What if he doesn't? Maybe that's why he said forget it because I said no the first time so he will never do it again"she shakes her head
"No laura that's not true. Just go shower then we can stay up here and watch movies all night"I nod then go in the bathroom to shower. Before I get in, I look at my baby bump an cry even more
ROSS POV
"Guys now let's play volleyball"they all cheer
"Are you mad that I pushed laura in?"ryland walks up to me and asks
"I was at first but not anymore"I grab the volleyball
"Why not?"I sigh
"Because she never wants to get married and I sort of proposed to her and she said no. So I don't even know what we are now"I jump in the so does ryland
"Boys dinner"my mom walks out and we all get out of the pool and dry off
"Smells good mom"we all sit down
"Where are the girls?"my dad walks in and sits down
"Why don't you go get them?"riker sighs before getting up and walking upstairs
LAURA POV
"This is fun"I paint my toes
"Told you"rydel paints her toes then riker bursts in
"Dinner time"then he leaves
"Hold on out these in"she hands me a foot dryer and I put them in
"Now can we go?"she nods then we walk on our heels downstairs and we sit down
Order of seating
Riker, Rocky, stormie, rydel, laura, ryland, mark, ross
"So what were you guys doing?"Rocky asks rydel and I
"We were painting our nails and watching movies"rydel says eating. I glance across the table and see ross looking down at his food then someone kicks me. It was rydel
"Well tomarrow we have work again"mark says and they all groan. I look at Rocky and he winks at me. I look at Ross and once we make eye contact, he looks down
"Um can I be excused?"I ask and stormie nods. I get up and run to the bathroom. I shut the door and throw up
ROSS POV
Ever since ryland made me say my feeling out loud, it seems different with laura. Even if she is puking her guts out
"Ross go help her"my mom demands and I get up and walk to the bathroom
"Laura are you ok?"I knock on the door and she opens it
"I'm fine"she says and all I do is nod
LAURA POV
I just got done puking and all he does is nod? I grab his wrist and stop him
"What is your problem?"I ask
"You. You don't want to get married so now I don't even know what we are. This baby can't grow up and have parents that are still boyfriend and girlfriend. They need a real family"he was about to leave but I stopped him. He looked at me
"I want a real family. That's why I went outside earlier. I was going to say yes. Then I pushed in, I went upstairs and I got an email from you saying forget it?"I almost yell
"I'm sorry I didn't know that but do you really want to get married?"he asks smiling
"I really don't know anymore"I walk passed him and back to the table
"Where's ross?"Rocky asks
"He's coming"I was about to sit down but then Rocky slipped a note in my hand. Then he gets up and walks away. I unfold the note
Meet me in my room
I fold the note back up
"I'll be right back"I run to Rockys room
"What do you want?"I ask sounding annoyed
"You"he whispers then gets closer
"Rocky I-"he cuts me off by kissing me. I imediatly push him off me
"Why did you do that?"I whisper yell
"Because I love you"I put my hands on my lips
"Rocky, I'm with ross"I confess
"Yeah and how is that working out? He proposed and you said no. Now what?"I look down
"We can't. I'm having his kids. This is wrong. You never should have kissed me"I look back up at him
"Whatever. I liked it. There's nothing complicated about a kiss"he raises his voice
"Don't tell anyone. Especially ross"I run out holding my lip. I run to my room and text rydel
RYDEL POV
"Where's Rocky?"dad asks then I get a message. I open it
Rocky kissed me come to my room now
"Um I have to go"I get up and run upstairs
"In here"she says and I open her door then close it behind me
"What happened?"I sit down next to her
"He kissed me because he likes me. This complicates everything. Rydel whatever you do promise you won't tell ross"I nod then hug laura
"Don't tell Ross what"we turn around and see Ross in the doorway
"Um I'm going to go laura you need to tell him"I get up and walk out. Ross walks in and sits next to laura. I close the door and walk to my room
ROSS POV
"Laura talk to me"I scoot closer to her but she turns her head so she's not looking at me
"What happened?"I ask and she slowly looks at me
"Rocky and I kissed"she whispers and all the anger boils up inside me
"I didn't kiss him he kissed me please don't kill him"I stand up
"Are you seriously taking his side?"I yell
