After that melt down, ness runs out of the house and I follow her
"Ness. Ness! Wait"I chase her all the way up to hill then she stops and so do I
"Ness were all upset but you have to forgive them"she then turns around
"I can't forgive them. My first relationship turned out to be all a lie and I don't think I can go back there"I was about to answer but then I heard someone yell my name
"Lar. Lar!"I turn around and see ross running up the hill
"Hey uh can I talk to you?"he asks and I nod. I turn around and ness is not there anymore. I hesitate before turning back to ross
"So um I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend"he rubs the back of his neck. I smile then go on my tippy toes and give him a kiss on the cheek. I pull away and he looks at me. I give him a smile and he smiles back
"So"he trails off
"Yes"I smile then he starts leaning in and so do I. I feel his warm breath on my lips. Our faces are centimeters apart when my parents interrupt us
"Uh um"he fake coughs. I look at my dad embarrassed. My mom looks at me in shame and my dad looks down
"Dad"he cuts me off
"Laura I knew you were going to be a great daughter the first time I laid eyes on you. But now I know that I was wrong"I feel a tear down my cheek
"Daddy"I sob
"Let's go"he grabs my wrist and drags me away from ross. I quickly grab Ross's hand to try and get out of my dads grip. Ross grips onto my hand and pulls me the opposite way. My dad finally lets go and I fall onto Ross's chest. We both fall to the ground
"When you get home you get 30 minutes to pack your things then your out"my dad yells
"Daddy"I cry
"Damino"my mom yells. My dad just walks past ross and I to find ness. My mom soon follows leaving ross and I on the ground
"Here let my help you"ross puts his hand out and helps me up
"Thanks um I guess I should get home and pack my things"I walk past him
"Lar, if you want you can stay at my house"he spins me around and I can't help but smile
"Thanks"we start leaning in only this time, our lips touch and I see fireworks
"We better go"ross and I start walking down the hill when ross slides his hand into mine and we intertwine our fingers. When we get home, I see ness sitting on the table looking down
"Uh hey ness"I try looking into her eyes but hers go straight to ross
"Why are you here"she gives ross a cold stare
"Um I'm here to help laura pack"she then looks at me
"Why are you leaving?"I hesitate to tell her the truth so I lie
"Uh I am moving out because I decided to move on from the ranch befor it gets to hard"she looks down
"I understand"ross and I leave awkwardly and go up to my room
"Oh so this is what the famous Laura's bedroom looks like"I smirk and he starts helping my pack
30 minutes later, my dad yells my name. I sigh and grab my suitcase. Ross grabs my hand and wheels my bag to the living room
"Lar, why are you leaving?"ness looks at me but my dad answers
"She is going to the city with her boyfriend where she belongs"she looks at me in disbelief. Ross and I just walk out and walk to the barn
"What are you doing? Lar it's like 9 at night. You can't ride a horse in the city"I walk to him then we walk to his house. Thankfully it's not that far. We walk up to the door and ross opens it.mi walk in and see 4 boys watching tv and 2 girls walking out of the kitchen
"Hey mom. This is laura. Is it ok if she stays here for a while?"he holds my hand and his mom nods
"Hey my name is rydel"the girl waves at me. I give her a weak smile before ross leads me upstairs. He opens his bedroom door and places my bag on the floor. He then closes the door
"Laura?"I look up at ross with tears in my eyes. He instantly walks up to me and hugs me. I cry into his chest
"Why did you let me come here?"I finally look into his eyes
"First you are my girlfriend and second you make me feel like I can do anything. You know how to be free way more than I do"I smile and blush
"Did you break up with ally?"he nods and I run up to him and hug him so hard that we fall on the bed. With me on top
"So are we going to finish that kiss?"he asks me. I nod and lean down to give him a sweet passionate kiss. I am still in top of him and he places his hands on my back while I play with his hair and I can't stop smiling
